After a rainy day, the afternoon cleared up to reveal a deep blue sky.

The mist was quickly rising from the Uvån, adding a beautiful atmosphere to the landscape.

It’s often the birch trees and other deciduous trees that bring colour to the landscape in autumn.

The warm tones among the green of the conifers create beautiful contrasts, especially during the golden hour.

Autumn is slowly arriving.

The colours are changing, the atmosphere in nature feels different, and the temperature is gradually dropping.

But while the days are getting colder, the colours are getting warmer.

The weather doesn’t always cooperate.
Luckily, we don’t get to decide that, although sometimes it would probably be better for the cameras.. 😉

Photos of Brattfallet during the dry period last summer.

I’ve never seen Brattfallet this dry before. The wooden beams underneath the old bridge, which probably date back to the time when timber was transported downstream, were completely dry.

- There was barely any water trickling down along the side.

Camera in hand, just seeing what the evening brings.

And then, suddenly, you get one of those moments when everything comes together.
The peace, the light and the nature around you.

🇸🇪 Ga je mee op ontdekking door Zweden?

Deze fotoreis is ontstaan vanuit mijn eigen liefde voor de natuur hier in Värmland en Dalarna.

De plekken waar ik zelf graag kom. Kleine wegen door de bossen, rivieren die door het landschap slingeren, indrukwekkende watervallen en natuurlijk de prachtige herfstkleuren van Zweden.

In oktober 2026 neem ik een kleine groep fotografen mee op een bijzondere 5-daagse reis door deze omgeving. We trekken vanuit Värmland richting Dalarna, op zoek naar mooie landschappen, bijzondere momenten en natuurlijk de mooiste plekken om te fotograferen.

Omdat alle informatie op de website misschien niet altijd even makkelijk te vinden is, heb ik de belangrijkste informatie hieronder in een aantal beelden gezet. Zo kun je rustig door alles heen bladeren en zien wat deze reis precies inhoudt.

Sometimes, as a photographer, you have a real luxury problem..

❤️Too many beautiful photos to choose from.

And there’s a reason for that. Some days seem to contain several seasons and completely different moods all in one day.

Mist and fog in the early morning. Beautiful weather during the day. In the evening, the sun slowly and beautifully disappearing behind the horizon. And then, as if the day hadn’t already given enough, the mist begins to rise once again over the marshy landscape.

A luxury that never gets boring, but choosing which photos to share can sometimes be quite difficult..
