Last day of summer, so I thought I’d share one of this summer’s adventures. 🌅
This was my first time ever paddleboarding… and apparently, I decided to start on hard mode. 😂
We thought it would be a nice, relaxing trip down the river near our home. Just us, the SUPs, nature and beautiful views.
Well… the river had other plans. 😅
In some places, the water was so shallow that we had to carry the SUPs and literally walk through the river. Then came the fallen trees. And more fallen trees. Sometimes we had to climb over them, carry the boards around them and basically turn our relaxing paddleboarding trip into a little survival adventure. 😂
We covered a surprisingly short distance in four hours.
By the end, we were exhausted beyond words… but somehow still happy we did it.
And at least the sunset was absolutely worth it. ❤️🌅
So, would I do it again?
