Behind the scenes - New halloween campaign shoot for .

Tricks? Keep it simple. My go to setup is Fujifilm GFX 100s, one Profoto D2 1000 and a white VFLAT. That’s it.

The VFLAT is very versatile for light shaping. Bounce the light into it once or twice, depending on what softness and shade gradients you want.

I angled the light so most of the table light is spill light (pic 2). I had a Tiffen Black Pro Mist 1/8 filter on my GF45-100mm lens. The halo effect on the upper left is created by the filter - it occurs when the filter is hit by strong light sources at an angle.

Some quick grading, small blemish removal and mask layer’s to lift shadows in specific parts of the image all done directly in Capture ONE 21 (pic 3)
