You don’t chose to get type 1 diabetes. But you can choose what you do with the story it gives you.
Since 2020, I’ve been living with type 1 and
Evelina has been living with it since 2000.
Over the years, we’ve spent a lot of my time trying to turn something difficult into something meaningful through the camera and by sharing our lives with type 1. It has given us a story we never asked for, but one we chosen to use to raise awareness and help others feel less alone.
Together with Evelina, we want to use our voices, experiences and the camera to show the reality of living with type 1 and to make a difference.
