An adopted Londoner - I love travelling with my family, discovering new places to eat in London (and beyond) and showcase the beauty London and the places I travel to. I consider myself an adopted Londoner - even though I still have a very strong Italian accent, who loves to travel and is always looking for a good cup of coffee and brunch.

Bath is always a good idea! Every corner off this city stopped me in my track, so much beauty.

We are getting near the end of week 3 of the school holidays, but who is counting? 😅👀

We recently stayed at Francis Hotel Bath and our dinner at Emberwood Bath was very remarkable, from the impeccable service (thanks Imani for looking after us so well), to the superb food, bonus point as they have a kids menu.

Emberwood is all about using local seasoning produce,cooked over a natural flame. And the brimm was so good, that we devoured - I had to share with K, who despite having his own dish demanded more once he had a taste (I don’t blame it 😂).

The only note: it is not in London. But again, a trip to Bath is always a good idea!

Eating pizza is one of our favourite activities (all year round, not just during the summer holiday), and we truly enjoyed the 18 inch pie from Spring St Pizza: (pr invite) half margherita for K, the other half with ‘nduja and stracciatella for me. We couldn’t finish it all - you can see the slices were huge, so we saved a few slices for the road

Then we walked through Borough Market and spent the afternoon at Tower of London.

Week 1 of the school holidays ✅, 6 weeks to go 😂
I was invited by Farm Shop to visit their London store (the other one is in Briton), so we stopped for coffee and pastries, and grabbed a few goodies from the amazing selection of products they have in store.

We made an afternoon of it, by exploring Mayfair and Marylebone.

Kettner’s - what a beautiful dining room 😍 and the food was just SO good, from the bread served still warm to every mouthwatering dish we had.
The tarte aux fraises 🍓 was definitely a highlight.

The perfect spot for a leisurely lunch in Soho and catch up with a friend.

My niece came to visit us in London at the end of June, and we celebrated our birthdays (her birthday is a week before mine) seeing Harry Styles, and the following day having lunch at Aqua Shard 🥳

Perfect place to celebrate: beautiful views and super good food, so special!
