An adopted Londoner - I love travelling with my family, discovering new places to eat in London (and beyond) and showcase the beauty London and the places I travel to. I consider myself an adopted Londoner - even though I still have a very strong Italian accent, who loves to travel and is always looking for a good cup of coffee and brunch.

Chicago, what a delight to be back in this city.
Absolutely loved visiting The Art Institute of Chicago and seeing so many beautiful paintings, we only had a few hours there, but with so much to see you could easily spend a day.
My favourite section: historic interiors and miniatures, all the details and so much beauty!

📸 Walking around central London with my FUJIFILM UK and Ireland
☕️ Catch up over breakfast at Panadera Bakery with Jo Yee - really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich
🍕Catch up over pizza at carmysldn with Naza 👩🏾, the pizza was very good! Now we just need a place selling pizza al trancio please
🍦Finally trying La Cremosa London and I think about this gelato often, so I will be go back soon: whipped cream inside the cone and on top of the ice cream 🤤🤤

After watching the documentary, I knew I had to see them again. I still I can’t believe I got a code and got the tickets we wanted for the date we wanted ✨

And Harry’s last date in Wembley.

The simple joy of heading out of the flat on a sunny day, with your camera, knowing you will be spending a few hours exploring with like minded people, doing what you love: taking photos.

Thank you Japan House London and The Photographers' Gallery for reminding me of the power of connection, and shared passion.

K had so much fun snapping away with the portable camera they gave us at the beginning, and chatting all things Japan (mainly Pokemon) with Jamel Duane Alatise*.

We finished with a guided tour of the exhibition Kyotographie: Kawada Kikuji x Iwane Ai, two Japanese photographers exploring identity, memory and migration ✨ which is on until 18 October 2026.

J.Sheekey | Seafood Restaurant | Leicester Square is an iconic London restaurant celebrating 130 years open this year! And its terrace has been reimagined for the occasion, through the world of another icon, Vivienne Westwood.

If you love seafood, this is the place to go - and it couldn’t be located any more centrally - just a few minutes from Leicester Square.

🍽️ scallops and catch of the day for me, a lemon sole
🍤 prawn tempura and shrimp burger for K, who loves seafood and he is already asking me when we are going back

I ended the meal with the bespoke Vivienne Westwood dessert: the mascarpone panna cotta with strawberries, and basil sorbet.

This was not my first visit to J.Sheekey | Seafood Restaurant | Leicester Square, and definitely not the last.

Am I ever tired of photographing London? Nope, and there is nothing I enjoy more than walking around my city with a camera in my hand - ok, except exploring a new destination. 😁😁

There are so many fab secondhand bookstores in London, and
HURLINGHAM BOOKS is one of them.

I buy a lot of books secondhand - I just collected Yesteryear, which I bought on Vinted, and I only have a few hundred pages left from IT (by Stephen King) which I got from a charity shop.

Do you have a go to pizza? K will always order margherita (with fries on top, if it is on the menu), and 90% of the time I order capricciosa 🤤 I now wish I was having pizza for dinner….

If you are looking for a place to eat Neapolitan pizza when visiting the Tower of London, then look no further…
Motherdough Pizza is only a 15 min walk. 👀 We visited during the summer holidays, and now know where to eat whenever we are in the area.

Autumn loading…. summer holidays have officially ended, time to get back to our routine, and for me that means resuming running in Richmond Park more regularly 💚 best way to start the day.
