The land of fire and ice

Or call it whatever you want, I must confess, this country is absolutely mind blowing!

Iceland gives all you need to make striking landscape shots. Glaciers, lagoons, geysers, uncountable waterfalls, lava fields... the list is endless.

Due to its diversity Iceland evokes wide range of emotions, so it’s difficult to be surprised when you go somewhere else.

This is my selection from the latest journey. Hope to return there again one day.

Catching Aurora above Hamnøya.

A small fishing village, perfectly set in this rough arctic landscape. Since 1890 they still have been fishing and drying cod in a traditional way. So you can smell it all over the islands.

It’s a very authentic place to start the exploration of the archipelago and going deep to feel the atmosphere of Lofoten Islands.
