Day 3 in was fabulous .. a little late start but the weather was great and the scenery was just breathtaking, I think I got some of my best shots here. On the trek we were shown by some locals as well. While we huffed and puffed a porter was effortlessly carrying a heater. We also transitioned into the peaks .. the view of all the peaks itself was inspirational . We also stopped at the famous . We still ended our day with 😎😎

Failure to summit

I was not able to summit mt.Elbrus. Shortly after the pic I developed severe cramps because of some blisters in my foot and I made a call to return.

That call still rankles me as it’s been a while since I haven’t summitted. Doubts persist on whether I could have pulled through with some pain and overcome the hurdles and yet there is another me which says I made the best call. This bittersweet turmoil might continue till I summit again or till a certain time passes.

The have been my space for the last 10 years or so and every time they have helped me become a better person. This failure may be a way of figuring out again. That said, I am pretty sure I will go back and finish the task I set out to do.
