In 2003, I had the opportunity to take Portraits of the legendary actor Irrfan Khan on a film set and he was kind enough to pose and allow me to take some creative Photos of him. His down-to-earth nature is embedded in my mind even today.

A marvelous actor of the Indian Film Industry will forever be remembered for his work and one of the finest actors of atl east my generation. Very shocking and sad news. R.I.P Irrfan Khan

Prashant and Ben embarked today on an adventure from India to the UK, connecting with artists, activists, music and more on this incredible journey

Their passion for bringing people together has inspired them to set out on a journey connecting and collaborating with artists and communities from India, Prashant’s motherland, to Scotland, Ben’s motherland. The journey takes its name and guiding ethos from the Sanskrit phrase Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: the whole world is one family. For Prashant and Ben, the Vasudhaiva Ride is a dedication to peace and unity across borders and differences. Today, Prashant and Ben set out on a year long motorcycle journey from India to Scotland, on a route that will cross 20,000km and more than 20 different countries.

This incredible journey will take Kumar Prashant and Benjammin Reid-Howells across India, through Nepal and the Seven Sister states of NE India, through Myanmar and into South East Asia to wait out winter 2018. Then its NW across China, and North through Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia, and finally, west into Ukraine and through Europe, ending in Edinburgh, Scotland.

They will be stopping for frequent collaborations, projects and documenting the stories throughout their journey to ensure future collaborations and resource exchange can flourish.

This trip is estimated to last 24 months.
