Senja Island looks like a movie scene for some fantasy movie. Endless fjords, sharp and epic peaks, waterfalls and forests create an unusual atmosphere of a fairy tale) And maybe the huge boulders on the mountain slopes are the remains of trolls that scattered stones in the first rays of the rising sun.

So the summer has come, although the weather forecast for the next couple of weeks is completely disappointing.

Nevertheless, I suggest not to despair, because In June they promise to remove a number of restrictions on movement in the Russian Federation and, for example, we have already planned a trip to North Karelia. I hope everything will work out!

In the meantime, here are few memories of last summer) . Awesome sunset on Senja Island, Northern Norway.

It has been almost three months since we moved out of city.
I once said that it’s very cool to live near the forest. Within a month, you completely break the habit of urban traffic, noise, and people. And here is some unrealistic amount of wild animals: beavers live in 200 meters from the house, build a dam, and sometimes foxes come to the site). Running through the woods, coffee on the balcony overlooking the forest, cooking in a cauldron and much more. Now, I'm afraid it will be very difficult to return to the city, to civilization.

In the meantime, here is one more photograph from the archive. I would like to believe that the borders will be opened soon, and our planned autumn photo-tour to the Dolomites will take place.
