We were on our way to Methana Peninsula. Just driving.
And then we look to the right, and surprise we discovered Psifta. A wetland, right next to the beach. We pulled over, and ofcourse we had to lift the drone.

89 species of birds rest or winter here. Herons, flamingos. There are birdwatching towers and paths through the reeds. We didn't have the right lens that day, that's a reason to go back.

Greece keeps doing this to us. You think you know where you're going, and then it shows you something you weren't expecting.

It was taken in the winter when I moved to Miroslava, and there were only few houses on the street.

Now 5 years later... I am moving again, and I am really excited to see what places I discover to take amazing photos of those who will visit us.

Some shoots you just can't forget.

This one was in Stânca, the village where I used to live. My former neighbour Ani, has an orchard there, and when Andra asked me to photograph their little one's first birthday, that's where we went.

I love that kind of rurality. The old trees, the uneven ground, the light that falls naturally.

Halfway through the shoot, the baby wiggled right off the chair, not a big fall, but enough to give her a fright. A few tears, a lot of comfort. And then those blue eyes again, wide open, calm, curious. Just like that.

What I remember most, though, is the tenderness between mommy and daddy, every time they looked at each other or reached for their little girl.

They were always easy to work with, easy to be creative around.

Autumn light, an old orchard, people I was genuinely fond of.

We visited Poros Island this Easter.

It is 5 minutes from Galatas with the ferry.
Poros is one of the closest islands to the Peloponnese coast.

I cannot describe the feeling, but what I do know, is that we will go back definetly.
