➳ THE INTENTION: ❄️When the city wears white ❄️

➳ THE JOURNEY: At the beginning of the new year, we were blessed with white powder covering the city—and it's actually lasting for a few days now.
I went for a walk in the evening, took my camera but with no expectation other than enjoying the scenery, the people, the street food and lifting up my mood for the beginning of the year.

➳ THE LEARNING: Every year I'm amazed by how much this white blanket can transform the landscape, and how much joy and coziness it can bring to people.

✧ A MOMENT OF REFLECTION FOR YOU: When did nature last stop you in your tracks and make you feel like a child again?

Happy new year and all the best to you 🥂🎉!!!

➳ THE INTENTION: Wood and coffee beans.
I wanted to capture the warmth and simplicity of two natural elements I love — wood and coffee.

➳ THE JOURNEY: Recently I was advised to give up coffee for a while. Coffee has always been one of my favorite morning rituals — sometimes I’d fall asleep already thinking about my next cup and my journaling time.

Now, with this change, I’ve been looking for ways to fill that small but meaningful void. One of them has been experimenting with coffee photography and surrounding myself with coffee beans just to enjoy their aroma.

This photo is one of those attempts: beans spilling from an olive-wood cup onto a wooden table, taken with my phone on a late sunny autumn day.

➳ THE LEARNING: When something become inaccessible in life, being a small pleasure or a person, best is to find creative ways to fill that void, that’s how you will keep the mind healthy and open to growth.

✧ A MOMENT OF REFLECTION FOR YOU: Where in your life is change inviting you to grow, even if it feels inconvenient or unwanted?

➳ THE INTENTION: Autumn reflections on the river 🍁

➳ THE JOURNEY: One of the last autumn scenes I managed to capture this year was along the riverbank in my hometown, on a wet, foggy morning.
The soft mist hovering above the water added a sense of mood and mystery, while the gentle flow of the river turned the colorful trees on the shore into perfect reflections.
To bring a touch of life into the scenes, in one image a bus and a lone walker cross the bridge and reflect in the water – a small moment that adds some movement to the stillness.

➳ THE LEARNING: There is something about reflecti
ons in photography. We’re drawn to these altered versions of reality appearing on all kinds of surfaces.
And in a way, it’s not so different from life: we often search for pieces of ourselves in others — our dreams, our fears, our hopes — reflected back to us in subtle ways.
Sometimes what we see is clear, and sometimes it’s beautifully distorted… but it always invites us to look within.

✧ A MOMENT OF REFLECTION FOR YOU: When you switch to your creative self, what kinds of reflections — in photography or in life — are you drawn to the most? ✨

➳ THE INTENTION: Autumn — the painter of our cities. 🍁

➳ THE JOURNEY: For me, it’s always a delight to watch nature change with the seasons — but autumn feels special, abundant with lots of sensorial stimulus.
So far, we’ve had such calm and warm autumn days, the kind that invite you to step outside and soak in the colors and gentle quiet this season brings.
After summer’s liveliness and busyness, and just before winter’s cozy calm, we get to enjoy these beautiful tones spreading across the city. The more nature it has, the more colourful it becomes in this season.

➳ THE LEARNING: Taking short walks, breathing in the crisp air, and letting the colors remind you how beautiful change can be. 🌾
✧ A MOMENT OF REFLECTION FOR YOU: What is this season of change teaching you right now? 🍂

✧ Cats of Greek islands ✧

➳ THE INTENTION: If you’ve been on the greek islands, probably you’ve seen the high amount of stray cats that are often collectively cared for by communities — locals and visitors feed them, and many towns have informal “cat colonies.”
Over time, these cats have become quiet symbols of island life, tranquility, freedom, quiet resilience, beauty, and survival during hard times.

➳ THE JOURNEY: collected during my travels across the Greek islands.

➳ THE LEARNING: Animals have always walked beside us through history. We have depended on them, respected them, and learned from their quiet resilience - or so I would like to believe.

✧ A MOMENT OF REFLECTION FOR YOU: Next time you pass by an animal that shares your world, take a moment to stop and offer a small gesture of kindness.

✧ Happy summer moments in a frame ✧

➳ THE INTENTION: A little Greek white-and-blue church by the seaside, a happy event unfolding — maybe a wedding, an engagement, or a baptism. Children swimming in the water with their crocodile floaty, tourists skydiving from boats, and the sunset painting everything in warm light. A scene almost perfect that could be mistaken for AI generated, but it isn’t — it’s a real moment on the Greek islands.
Perhaps if a fisherman stood by the lighthouse and a boat sailed in the distance, the picture would have been “perfect.” But imperfection is part of beauty after all.

➳ THE JOURNEY: Rhodes island, Greece

➳ THE LEARNING: Greek summer is all about kefi — the joy that fills the air when the sea, the people, and the sunset all move together in harmony. A photo can only capture a glimpse of that energy, but that’s what makes it feel alive.

✧ A MOMENT OF REFLECTION FOR YOU: Close your eyes for a moment and picture your own summer happy frame …

✧ Churches on Greek Islands ✧

➳ THE INTENTION: Since very old times, churches have been among the most beautiful and significant buildings in any town, often standing as its landmark.

On the Greek Islands—just like in much of Eastern Europe—churches still hold a central role for the community. Their architecture ranges from Byzantine to Venetian influences, from large cathedrals in busy squares to tiny chapels hidden inside rocks or on top of hills.

I like to pause for a minute or two when passing by these churches, admire their details, and reflect for a few seconds on how people have always needed a place to gather, to connect, and to show kindness to one another. It grounds me back to the earth and reminds me of the real things that matter.

➳ THE JOURNEY: greek islands Crete, Zakynthos, during summers

➳ THE LEARNING: Beyond their beauty, these churches remind me that humans have always built spaces to come together — to celebrate, to mourn, to share, and to care for one another.

✧ A MOMENT OF REFLECTION FOR YOU: Where are the places in your own life where you feel this sense of gathering and kindness?

✧ Searching minimalism on the beach ✧

➳ THE INTENTION: Around sunset, in the summer, when majority of people left the beach to have dinner, I went hunting for visual minimalist treasures on the beach. The choice of the day was colors and some ordered lines of the chairs and umbrellas, some catching the warm side light, others being reduced to silhouettes by the back light, and the sea waves in the background providing the rhythm to the scene.

All these gave me a relaxing and somehow melancholic feeling — as if summer is slipping away, and now we must dream of the next one, imagining ourselves there on the beach again.

➳ THE JOURNEY: An evening walk on the beach in Rethimno. Each step revealed not just empty chairs and umbrellas, but traces of people, warmth, and stories that had already faded into the sunset of the day.

➳ THE LEARNING: THE LEARNING: Minimalism in photography is not only about reducing elements in the frame. It is also about finding space to breathe, to listen, to notice what remains when everything else is gone.

The Greeks capture this beautifully in their way of life: kefi - the joy of living fully in a moment; meraki - the soul and care we put into even the simplest things; siga siga - the reminder that life is best lived slowly, without rushing.

✧ A MOMENT OF REFLECTION FOR YOU: When was the last time you allowed yourself, in a place, to notice its silence, its colors, its textures — without the rush to consume it?

✧ The Dawn of a New Day at Seaside ✧

➳ THE INTENTION: There's something wonderful about watching a seaside town wake up, especially when you're on vacation. The morning atmosphere is filled with a sense of excitement and possibility, the new day may bring.

Just around sunrise, I was enjoying my morning coffee from a balcony, trying to absorb the scene visually with patience. Slowly, the little town began to wake up to life, while the sun's orange light started to spread over the streets and beach, casting a warm, inviting hue over everything it touched.

Locals could be seen doing their morning exercises or heading to work, while early-rising tourists jogged along the beach, or just walking in the peaceful morning. In the distance, a ferry was returning from an overnight trip, adding to the sense of movement and anticipation.

➳ THE JOURNEY: Rethymno, Crete

➳ THE LEARNING: It's moments like these that remind me of the beauty in the ordinary of the everyday. Watching a town come to life, seeing people start their days with purpose and energy, is a powerful reminder of the rhythm and resilience of life.

✧ A MOMENT OF REFLECTION FOR YOU: Pay attention to the energy and potential in the air. Notice how each person, each action, contributes to the overall rhythm of the day and find your inspirations in this natural unfolding.

✧ Old Lighthouse in Golden Light ✧

➳ THE INTENTION: Nestled in the old harbor of Rethymno, on the island of Crete, stands a lighthouse an old Lighthouse, built by Egyptians in the 1800s, this lighthouse is one of over 30 that exist across the island's coastline. In its good days, its light could be seen from over 20 kilometers away, guiding ships through both calm and stormy seas.
Today, the lighthouse is no longer operational, but it still serves as a landmark for the harbor and a testament to the island's maritime heritage. As the sun sets, the tower is covered in a stunning golden light with its reflection shown in the water below. In the background, the beautiful mountains of Crete stretch out, adding to the majesty of the scene. I can only imagine how breathtaking this view must be in winter, with the mountains capped in snow and the lighthouse standing strong in the foreground (Crete’s mountains have heights of over 2000m so they do get snow in the winter).
The area around the lighthouse is a hub of activity, with cafes and restaurants lining the harbor. It's a popular meeting point for locals and tourists alike, and a starting point for exploring the charming old Venetian town.

➳ THE JOURNEY: Rethymno harbor, Crete

➳ THE LEARNING: We all need a Lighthouse in our lives - a guiding light to lead us to safety when is getting cloudy and storms are heading our way.

✧ A MOMENT OF REFLECTION FOR YOU: What’s your Lighthouse in your life ? Take a moment to appreciate these guiding lights, they are the lighthouses that help us find our way home.

✧ Thoughts from a Zante Trek ✧

➳ THE INTENTION: I'm always excited to hike to higher ground and take in a panoramic view, whether it's of a valley, mountains, or a human settlement. There's a certain grandeur that overwhelms me in these moments, a reminder of how small we are as humans compared to the immensity of this planet. And yet, it's also proof of the astonishing things we humans manage to create.

On this particular day, I decided to walk up a small hill to experience the 180-degree view over Zante town and marina. It's a popular touristic viewpoint, and there are easier ways to get there, but I wanted to walk in the hope that the journey itself might reveal some other photographic gems along the way.

Once on top, a sense of calm and awe washes over me as I scout the views from left to right, right to left. I try to distinguish known buildings, ships, even people walking along the marina. From this viewpoint, the hustle and bustle of daily life seems to fade away, replaced by a sense of perspective and wonder.

➳ THE JOURNEY: A hike to hills arround Zante town

➳ THE LEARNING: A higher perspective on the world can ground you back to reality and make you dream at the same time. It's a reminder of our place in the grand scheme of things.

✧ A MOMENT OF REFLECTION FOR YOU: There's something powerful about rising above the everyday and seeing the world from a new angle. It's a practice I highly recommend, whether you're on vacation or in your own hometown.
