❗Ultra mentality isn't something you can explain - it's something you experience❗

Maybe that's why some people confuse the Ultra phenomenon with Hooligans.

But it's not that... it's a spirit, mostly found in men. It's the same spirit that built societies, religions, culture, and yes...war.

I would say that "Ultras are men simulating the world in a world already built and conquered"

The need is still there - and it's a need much needed, for good even with the bad.

What sits behind the ultra mentality, in a symbolic way, is what sits behind the meaning of you sleeping in your bed, singing songs, feeling 'a part' of anything.

It's part of the manly need of giving meaning to this cold and scary world. It's the fraternity spirit, what keeps men away from darkness, from evil. It's what gives men what they need the most - camaraderie and meaning.

It's something that - symbolically - every society needs: spirit!

🇮🇹 Amalfi – Between History, Legends, and Mysteries of Italy’s Most Beautiful Coast ✨

🔹 If you've ever dreamed of wandering through the streets of a town that feels like a scene from a period film—where history intertwines with dramatic landscapes and the mysteries of the past hide behind every ancient façade—then Amalfi is the perfect place for you.

💡 But beyond its obvious beauty, the Amalfi Coast holds fascinating stories of pirates, fallen nobles, mafia secrets, and the eccentricities of international celebrities.

🔴 A Glorious Past, Invasions, and Saracen Pirates 🔴

🔹 Amalfi was not always just an exclusive vacation destination. In the Middle Ages, it was a powerful maritime duchy, growing wealthy from trade with the Middle East. But wealth always attracts danger, and Amalfi was repeatedly attacked by Saracen pirates.

🔹 Legend has it that in the 9th century, an Arab princess, held captive in Amalfi, fell in love with the son of a local nobleman. To free her, he betrayed the city, secretly guiding the pirates through Amalfi’s underground tunnels one fateful night, leading to its looting.

💡 Even today, locals say that some of Amalfi’s hidden catacombs lead directly to the sea and were used for smuggling and by the mafia.

🔴 The Mafia and the Hidden Secrets of the Amalfi Coast 🔴

🔹 Due to its proximity to Naples, the stronghold of the Camorra, stories of mafia connections along the Amalfi Coast have circulated for years.

🔹 Though today the area is more of a playground for billionaires and tourists, in the '70s and '80s, it was rumored that high-ranking mafia bosses took refuge here to escape law enforcement.

🔴 The Hideaway of Billionaires and International Celebrities 🔴

🔹 It's no surprise that celebrities from around the world have been drawn to this enchanting coastline.

🔹 Jackie Kennedy, Greta Garbo, and Sophia Loren spent their summers in Ravello, while Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were often spotted on private yachts in Positano.

🔹 Rihanna, Mariah Carey, and Beyoncé have all indulged in luxurious getaways here, and Tom Cruise, during his peak fame, was rumored to own a secret vacation home along the coast.

🔹 Another famous figure who left his mark on the region was Gore Vidal, the eccentric American writer who spent decades in Ravello, hosting legendary parties for artists, writers, and politicians.

🔹 Some say Vidal had ties to the CIA and that a few of his secret meetings took place on this very coastline, far from prying eyes.

🔴 Amalfi: A Blend of Luxury, History, and Well-Kept Secrets 🔴

🔹 Whether you’re drawn to history, legends, breathtaking scenery, or simply places with an undeniable charm, Amalfi and the entire coast make for a fascinating destination.

🔹 But don’t be fooled by the idyllic Instagram shots—during peak season, it’s incredibly crowded, and prices are among the highest in Italy.

🔴 The Amalfi Vibe – Beauty, Crowds, and Quieter Alternatives 🔴

🔹 It’s no wonder Amalfi attracts millions of tourists every year—it’s absolutely stunning, but also extremely crowded in high season.

🔹 The streets are narrow, and in summer, the waves of visitors can make exploring less relaxing.

🔹 However, the Amalfi Coast is dotted with charming villages where you can experience the same authentic atmosphere with fewer crowds.

🔴 If you want to enjoy spectacular scenery without Amalfi’s crowds, consider:

▪️ Ravello – A hilltop town with spectacular gardens and breathtaking sea views. Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo are must-sees.

▪️Atrani – A tiny village next to Amalfi where you can experience local life without the chaos.

▪️ Praiano – A quieter alternative to famous Positano, with beautiful beaches and unforgettable sunsets.

▪️ Minori and Maiori – Lesser-known towns with a relaxed atmosphere and slightly more affordable prices.

❗Authentic Experiences on the Amalfi Coast
Beyond the dreamy landscapes, this Italian region offers incredible culinary experiences—from fresh seafood pasta to the famous sfusato amalfitano lemons transformed into artisanal limoncello, and traditional desserts like delizia al limone.

❤️ To truly feel the soul of the Amalfi Coast, explore the lesser-known spots, talk to the locals, and discover the stories that don’t make it into the official travel guides.

🌿🌸 Martisor – A Spring Story 🌸🌿

Today is March 1st, the day when spring makes its presence felt, even if only symbolically. In Romania, this day is marked by the tradition of Martisor, an ancient custom celebrating the renewal of nature and hope.

🔴⚪ What is Martisor?

It is a small talisman tied with a red and white string, offered as a symbol of luck and prosperity. The white symbolizes purity and new beginnings, while the red represents vitality and the energy of life.

📜 The Origin of the Holiday

Martisor has deep roots in Thracian-Dacian and Roman culture, being associated either with **spring rituals** or with the god Mars, the protector of agriculture. It is said that our ancestors wore red and white strings to attract health and fertility to nature.

🌍 Where else is it celebrated?

In addition to Romania, Martisor is also a tradition in Moldova, Bulgaria (where it is called "Martenitsa"), North Macedonia, Albania, and parts of Serbia. In Bulgaria, for example, people pin their Martisoare to their chests and wear them until they see the first blooming tree, then they tie them to branches as a symbol of wishes fulfilled.

🎁 How is it celebrated in Romania?

In Romania, Martisor is mostly offered to women, although in some regions of the country (such as Bucovina), men also receive Martisoare. In the past, girls wore the Martisor string on their wrists until the spring equinox, when they would tie it to a blooming tree to attract abundance and health.

❓Roman Tradition or Local Influence?❓

💡The oldest documented reference to the Martisor holiday comes from the chronicle "Letopisețul Țării Moldovei" by Grigore Ureche, dating back to the 17th century. In this chronicle, the spring traditions and customs of Moldova are mentioned, including the custom of giving Martisoare, though there is no detailed description of how this moment was celebrated back then. However, Martisor has much deeper roots, being associated with the lunar cult and various pre-Christian rituals that celebrated the beginning of spring.

💡There is no clear mention that the Romans had the exact custom of the red-and-white string, but it is possible that the Dacian and Thraco-Illyrian peoples adopted influences from Roman culture after the conquest of Dacia. Still, the Martisor custom seems to have evolved more as a tradition specific to the Romanian and Balkan regions, without being documented as a direct Roman practice.

💡Most likely, Martisor is the result of a cultural synthesis between ancient pre-Christian rituals and the influences of Romanization, developing as a tradition specific to the Romanian and Balkan space. The fact that it is also present in Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Albania, and Serbia suggests a common origin in the Thraco-Illyrian culture, but without precise historical documents, it remains a subject of speculation.

🌿What is certain is that Martisor has endured over time and continues to be a living tradition, regardless of its exact origin.

❗May this March 1st bring you light, hope, and joy! 💐✨

How will you celebrate Martisor?

🇨🇿 Prague – A Fairytale in Every Corner ✨

🔹Walking through the cobbled streets of Prague, you feel like you've stepped into a storybook. The city's architecture is a mesmerizing blend of Gothic, Baroque, and Art Nouveau, each building telling a tale of history and culture.

🔹The intricate details on the facades, the grand arches, and the towering spires give Prague a timeless elegance, as if the past is still alive in every street and square.

✨The first photo captures one of Prague’s charming narrow streets, leading to a beautiful historical building with its signature red rooftops and medieval-style tower. These winding streets, framed by ornate buildings and hidden courtyards, create an atmosphere of mystery and romance. Many of these alleys have remained unchanged for centuries, whispering stories of merchants, artists, and emperors who once walked the same paths.

✨In the second photo, you can see the dynamic atmosphere of Old Town, where past and present coexist. The elegant facades, rich with decorative elements and sculpted reliefs, reflect the city’s layered history. Some buildings feature delicate stucco work from the Baroque era, while others boast elaborate Gothic details, remnants of a time when Prague was the seat of the Holy Roman Empire. The contrast between old-world charm and modern city life makes this place truly unique.

🔸From hidden gardens to mysterious passageways, every turn in Prague leads to something enchanting, making it a city that captures the imagination like no other.

❓Have you been to Prague❓ If not, this city should definitely be on your travel bucket list! 🇨🇿✨

🇮🇹 Naples – A City Like No Other✨

❤️ A city I visited for 2-3 days in 2019, and in 2024, I returned to explore it more deeply for 10 days, during which I walked through every corner... Some despise it, but personally, I love it. 🙏

🔹Naples isn’t just a city; it’s an experience. Walk through its labyrinth of narrow streets, where colorful laundry sways between balconies, scooters zip by in a chaotic dance, and the smell of fresh sfogliatella and espresso lingers in the air.

❗This isn’t the polished elegance of Milan or Rome—it’s raw, vibrant, and unapologetically alive❗

🔸These streets date back centuries, shaped by Naples’ layered history. Once a Greek colony, later a Roman stronghold, then the capital of a powerful kingdom, Naples has always been a crossroads of cultures.

🔸The Spanish, French, and even the Normans left their mark, but the real soul of the city belongs to the napoletani.

❗They say here, time moves differently—fast in traffic, slow over a plate of pasta alla Genovese.❗

🔹Naples is full of myths, and one of the most famous is the Monaciello, a mischievous ghost in monk’s robes, said to bring luck or play tricks on those who disrespect the city’s spirit.

🔹Whether you believe it or not, one thing is undeniable—Naples will haunt you in the best way possible, long after you've left.

❓Would you get lost in its magic❓

My wife works magic in the kitchen! ❗

🔹 I've tried this dish many times while living in Budapest and Kraków—both cities well known for their Thai and Vietnamese cuisine.

🔹 Since Oradea doesn’t have any restaurants with this specialty, my wife decided to solve the problem herself.

🔹 So today, I was lucky enough to enjoy an authentic Pho, just like in Hanoi!

🔥 For those who don’t know, Pho is Vietnam’s national soup—a perfect balance of flavorful broth, tender beef, and rice noodles. Oh, and let’s not forget tons of garlic and other exotic spices! 🇻🇳

This combination makes you forget about any other soup you’ve ever tried.

🍜 Ingredients:

✅ Clear beef bone broth, simmered for hours with cinnamon and cloves
✅ Rice noodles
✅ Thinly sliced beef, cooked directly in the hot broth

🧅 Green onions
🌶️ Spicy chili peppers (with seeds!)
🧄 Fresh garlic
❗All added raw at the end (for those who can handle it – in our case, it was tons of it!)

✅ Coriander, both ground and fresh (the more, the better!)
✅ And, of course, a generous dose of love ❤️

If we can’t find Vietnamese cuisine in town, we bring it home ourselves.

Thank you, Flavia, for turning every meal into a journey! ❤️

🇷🇴Oradea from the City Hall Tower – A View Through Time✨🇭🇺

✨Oradea is a city full of history, and from the City Hall Tower, you can admire a stunning panorama of its vibrant center.

✨These images, captured in winter and summer, showcase the city in two contrasting yet equally charming perspectives.

✨In the foreground lies the Olosig district, one of the oldest in Oradea, with origins dating back to the Middle Ages.

✨Its name comes from the Hungarian word "Olaszi," referring to the Walloon and Italian settlers who lived here centuries ago. Unlike many major cities in Romania, where communist-era apartment blocks dominate central areas,

✨ Oradea’s heart is filled with well-maintained, colorful rural-style houses, reflecting Austrian and Hungarian architectural influences.

✨In the background stands the majestic Baroque Palace, one of Oradea’s most iconic buildings, built in the late 18th century.

✨Alongside the Roman Catholic Cathedral and the Canon’s Row, it forms an exceptional architectural ensemble, a true symbol of the Baroque elegance found in western Romania.

✨Oradea is a perfect example of a city that beautifully blends history with modernity, and this view captures its unique charm.
