With Summer being close, I got inspired and picket up my camera, Set up a little corner in the garden and took some pictures of a cake I made earlier.
I really like styling food and preparing for shootings but baking is not my favorite. This cake is super easy, it's just a sponge cake that nobody can go wrong with, filled with chocolate-mascarpone filling and caramel sauce. (It tastes very good.)
I covered it with buttercream that Antonio made and put the rest of the caramel sauce on top. Don't try this if you're on a diet.

It was right about time for a post by the end of the month, right? I woke up one morning to this beautiful light, picked up my camera and ran out to snap some pics. It felt good to just shoot. No expectations or ideas to hold on to. They're like some stills from a movie. My movie. Life.

I already showed you some pictures of Erzsébet and Apacs, but this one here is HER horse, Szélvész. And you can tell that they grew up together by the bond between them. It was a pleasure photographing them and just to see them playing and riding. When I first met them -a year ago- Szélvész was very suspicious and curious. Came to me but didn't let me touch her. She stayed there next to me, didn't move, even followed me when I took a step and tried to "bite" me when I turned my back to her. She loves velcro. When I finally took the courage to let her play with my jacket, she pulled the velcro of my sleeve and I almost fell down. I think that was the point when we started to become friends. She's magic, just like her owner.

I started the week in our cabin by the lake. Woke up early, made coffee and stood outside listening to the raindrops gently touching the ground. As I finished my cup of coffee, the sun was coming up and I rushed down to the lake with Happy to catch the first rays. It was so quiet.

Ez az év nem egészen úgy alakult, ahogy terveztük- ezzel mindenki így van, azt hiszem; de ettől még az élet megy tovább és így vagy úgy a végzős diákok elballagnak. A körülményeknek köszönhetően úgy alakult, hogy itthon töltöttem az év nagy részét és úgy tűnik, hogy az elkövetkezendőkben is itthon leszek. Ezért ha jövőben ballagsz és szeretnél szép őszi képeket, keress bátran. ( Akkor is megkereshetsz, ha nem ballagsz :) )

Ready for some moody Fall pictures?
Summer's gone. Just like that, in a blink of an eye and somehow I have the urge to pick up the camera again. I've been busy in the last months, you know how this goes. Don't even realize what day it is, until something stops you from whatever you've been doing and make you acknowledge that it's time for a change. Together with this, comes a sudden mood-shift, the days are shorter and you know that soon, it's all going to turn to grey. It's been more than 6 months since I had been somewhere abroad and who knows me-they know that I can't stay in one place for too long. What I miss the most, is the sea. But in this crazy world, I can only hope to get a chance to travel again. Till then, I might take pictures of Home.

Some might know that I started horse riding a few months ago and got to know this talented girl and her horse. While lots of people are afraid of horses-even me sometimes :| -she spends most of her time with them, riding, playing and taking care of them. There's a special bond between these two and believe it or not, horses have personalities just like humans.

Today I got my very first roll of film developed. I think I had that film for a year or so, so there are pictures from every season. They were taken mostly around the house because I never wanted to carry two cameras.

It's a bit weird to look at these photos, they feel so different and 'distant'. Probably because it took me so long to shoot the whole film and I wasn't able to check how they turned out till now. I was really excited in the last few days, waiting for the pictures. This year is a bit off, like the whole world would be on some kind of pause, waiting. Waiting for this s**t to be over, waiting for things to get back to normal, borders to open, Summer to arrive because it's been raining every single day in the last month...
