Photography is a place of expression - a place where I try to teach Time how to stand still, for people to observe the beauty around. The Ab Lumendor photography project, is meant to reveal all the vibrations within myself and the world around. With the wish and hope to grow and help others grow as well, the act of photography is meant as a healing act, for me, as a photographer, and as well as f

or the one that is being photographed. As far as nature and animals are concerned, my belief is that there are connections, bonds which intertwine and tie us, unconsciously, to the entire world; therefore, shooting such entities would materialize that specific bond and reveal the perfect course of things. Simplicity is the soothing river which washes all our troubles away, whereas creativity is a whirlpool which drags with it the rawest of thoughts. Even though times of doubt, anguish and panic can erode our being and melt our strength and courage, one must always seek for a place of shelter from the outward and inward clamor, a place to regain one’s might, to renew one’s forces and to face all of one’s struggling with great determination and practical resolution. For me, that place of shelter is found in photography and writing, because they work as magical engines which provide me the fuel to keep going forward. Here, in this place, I want to become a testimony to the overcoming of fear and the shackles of prejudice, by giving shape to one`s deepest emotions, speaking through images and exhibiting through words. I want to capture what passes unnoticed, I want to help you find that what is missing, a thing which, sometimes, it may be right in front of you.
