A collection of moments, emotion and sentiment: ‘The Search for Understanding Souls’: - limited edition of prints available to make home in your own space.
I’m grateful to announce that I’ve finally decided to release my first series of portraits and street photography, a limited edition of prints, available to purchase.
The collection contains a study of the human typology, that is desired to achieve an in-depth understanding of intense sentiments and experiences, through the use of two, well-developed techniques.
The first one represents the indirect study of characters, all over Europe. This involved a continuous search of personas that managed to transmit a certain feeling that passed through me at the moment of the encounter, whether it was through their allure, mimics or body language.
The second approach and a more clear-sighted one, involves the direct study. This is a careful selection of participants - the Dramatis Personae - with whom I have been experiencing dialogues on a personal level, that usually tended to conclude in a beautiful moment of openness. This moment of openness, of soul exposure was when the practical process of photography began, creating an almost electrifying moment of elation.
As I define this study as an exposure of the human soul, I’ve decided to name this collection - ‘The Search for Understanding Souls’ - which further represents a hunt for self-discovery through the exploration of the unknown.
This series will come out as a limited collection – each photography being released in a restricted number of copies – 20, the number will be mentioned on each product. What is your fortunate, yet favoured number?
