ARTISTS FROM MENA AND BEYOND COMING TOGETHER TO SUPPORT VICTIMS OF THE EARTHQUAKES IN SYRIA.

0602 is an art project that aims at supporting the emergency response in Syria following the disastrous multiple earthquakes that occurred on February 6th 2023, by selling prints of artwork generously donated by various artists from the region.

In light of the dire humanitarian conditions and the critical humanitarian needs on the ground, both in the short and long term (evacuation, shelters, food, water, heating, appropriate winter items and other non-food items, access to education and much more), we have created this platform to sell artwork. 100% of the profits will be allocated to trusted grassroots organizations operating in Syria to address the emergency needs following the disaster.

‏‎في دمشق أصبحت احلامنا ذواتنا مستقبلنا وأيامنا جميعها من دون صلاحية، فهناك الكثير ممن ترك أحلامه وإيمانه وشغفه وأتجه مجبراً لغاية تأمين يومه واحتياجات اسرته مما إثر على حال الشارع. فقد أصبحت الوجوه تشبه بعضها تفكر في ذات الأمور ولديها ذات الهموم، الغير مفهومة لأي أحد من خارج هذا الشارع.

‎و أخيراً أنا هنا، صنع في المنزل جزء من مشروعي منتهي الصلاحية، أصبح متوفرًا على الموقع الإلكتروني للمشروع.
‎يمكن الوصول الى الموقع من خلال الرابط أو ملصقات رمز الاستجابة السريعة المنتشرة في أكثر من 6 دول من الشرق الأوسط إلى أوروبا.
‎ الكتاب الفوتوغرافي(زين مصنوع يدويًا) متاح عن طريق الطلب عبر الإنترنت من خلال موقع المشروع.
‎شكرًا الى كل الأصدقاء اللذين ساهموا في إنجاز هذا المشروع.
تم إنجاز هذا المشروع بمنحة من اتجاهات – ثقافة مستقلة

‎وصف المشروع:
‎صور فوتوغرافية لأقدم عاصمة في العالم باستخدام أفلام انتهت صلاحيتها منذ أكثر من عقد
‎صنع في المنزل هو الجزء الذي تم صنعه يدويًا، حيث لم يكن هناك مكان أو أي شخص يمكنه معالجة أفلام الأبيض والأسود في سوريا. في المنزل، بعد معالجة الصور ورؤيتها، كان من الواضح أنها تستحق أن تعرض وتتم مشاركتها مع الناس، حتى يتمكنوا من رؤية التشابه بين الصور والحياة الحقيقية في المدينة دون كلمات
‎أو تسميات توضيحية، بل من خلال الصور فقط.
And Finally here I am. HOMEMADE a part of EXPIRED project is out.
The virtual exhibition is accessible by QR code stickers spread around more than 6 countries from the Middle East to Europe
The Handcrafted Zine (photography book) is available by order online through the project website.

Project description:
Photograph of the oldest capital in the world using films expired over a decade ago.
“Homemade” is the part done by hand when there was no place or no one who could process a Black and white negative in Syria. At home, After processing and seeing the photos, it was obvious that they deserved to be shown and shared with people so that they could see the similarity between the Photos and real life in the city without words or captions, only by images.
