Sundays trip to Fuwairit Beach had some unexpected returns, I arrived a couple of hours before sunset and went for a bit of a walk along the beach, ended up seeing some kitesurfers enjoying the windy day, had one guy in particular spot that we were taking some photos and started doing some stunts in front of us... If anyone knows who it could be, please get in contact as I have some pretty cool shots of him flying!

As many of you already know, sailing has been my passion for about 7 years now, and ever since I first saw the Volvo Ocean Race I've wanted to be a part of the sailing lifestyle, the hard work, the highs and the lows, abd most of all the teamwork needed. Today is the start of leg 1, Alicante, Spain to Lisbon, Portugal with 7 teams competing. Unfortunately I haven't had my call up yet (it will come soon hopefully!) I did manage to take some photos of leg 0 and hopefully will manage to get some more later on in the race, here are some of my favourites of Team AkzoNobel, Dongfeng Race Team - 东风队, Vestas 11th Hour Racing, Turn The Tide On Plastic and Desafio Mapfre

While on holiday last month I was super busy, hence the lack of posts, I managed to compete in 4 separate regattas along the south coast of the UK, won a national championships, completed a yachtmaster course, photographed the fastnet start (more photos to come) and most importantly spent a week with my family before flying back to Qatar again for work, this has to be one of my favourite shots from while I was at home, taken from Lee on solent of some fishermen while the sun was setting over calshot spit
