Vila Real… que fim de semana. Mais do que a cidade onde nasci, é o lugar onde tudo começou… Este fim de semana, o Circuito Internacional de Vila Real voltou a ganhar vida, e com ele, o meu coração. Há qualquer coisa de mágico em ver a cidade transformar-se, em sentir o cheiro a Gasolina e Borracha misturado com o calor humano de quem aqui vive o desporto com muito amor paixão e alma. Cada fotografia que tirei carrega essa linha muito ténue entre o instante decisivo e a eternidade misturado com o orgulho que é de ser da nossa Cidade 🫶

Ao caminhar pela zona das boxes, sala de imprensa, pelas ruas cheias de memórias e nostalgia, dei por mim, desta vez, a olhar em volta com um olhar e cuidado diferente, priorizando até em certos momentos a contemplação invés de fazer a fotografia... Um olhar sentido de como quem quer guardar tudo mas sabe que existem momentos na nossa vida que nunca mais se voltam a repetir ✨

Sinto que este ano foi diferente. Talvez por dentro eu saber que cada fotografia tirada aqui tem um peso ainda maior… Talvez por estar numa fase em que o horizonte se começa a abrir noutras direções, ou apenas simplesmente por ser um profundo orgulho dizer que sou desta cidade 👏

Durante estes dias, cruzei-me com pessoas que me aqueceram o coração. Amigos, colegas, desconhecidos que me deram uma palavra, um gesto, um sorriso, que apesar da minha timidez e forma de ser mais introvertida me iam conseguindo arrancar palavras e maravilhosas conversas para mais tarde recordar... São essas pequenas coisas que tornam este fim de semana ainda mais especial. Obrigado, de coração, a todos os que contribuíram com muito energia positiva para que este fim de semana fosse para mim tão especial como é e foi 🙂

Desde já, a todos os fotógrafos, jornalistas, Repórteres de imagem, videógrafos, seguranças, policias, bombeiros, comissários de pista, técnicos, senhores/senhoras da limpeza, mecânicos, pilotos, reboques, a todos os envolvidos na montagem dos rails e toda a preparação do circuito. Os meus parabéns a todos, mesmo todos, os envolvidos por mais um excelente trabalho! Cada um tem a sua importância e é fulcral fazendo com que este grande evento se possa realizar 🙏

Feliz com a renovação do WTCR por mais 3 anos, bem como as nossas provas nacionais excelentemente organizadas pelos seus respetivos promotores. Espero que olhemos para o futuro, sempre com um olhar de evolução e melhorias ano após ano e nunca se caia na presunção, correndo-se o risco de estabilizar ou até regredir, de que tudo já está bem, quando existem tantas coisas ainda em que crescer a vários níveis. O tempo é escasso… Deixo ainda assim este pequeno álbum que para mim guarda mais do que fotografias… Guarda memórias, nostalgia, amizade, amor, adrenalina e um sentimento até um pouco difícil de explicar. Um dia sei que terei a oportunidade de fazer algo mais completo e em grande como Vila Real merece! Espero gostem, tentei incluir um pouco de tudo, e espero que estas imagens consigam transmitir um pouco do que senti durante estes dias. Obrigado... Vila Real ❤️

Vila Real… what a weekend.More than just the city where I was born, it’s the place where everything began. This weekend, the Circuito Internacional de Vila Real came alive once again, and with it, so did my heart ❤️ There’s something truly magical about watching the city transform. The smell of gasoline and burnt rubber mixes with the warmth of the people who live and breathe motorsport here with unmatched love, passion, and soul.Every photo I took holds that fine line between a decisive moment and something eternal, blended with the pride of being from this city I call home. 🫶

As I walked through the paddock, the media center, and the familiar streets filled with memories and nostalgia, I found myself this time looking around with a different kind of attention.
At certain moments, I chose to pause and simply take it all in rather than raise the camera. A quiet, intentional gaze, like someone trying to absorb everything, knowing deep down that some moments in life may never return ✨

This year felt different.
Maybe because, deep down, I know that every image captured here carries a little more weight.
Maybe because I’m in a phase where the horizon is starting to open in new directions.
Or maybe simply because it’s a deep and lasting pride to say that I am from this city 👏

Throughout these days, I crossed paths with people who truly warmed my heart.
Friends, colleagues, and even strangers who, despite my introverted nature, managed to spark kind words and conversations I’ll carry with me.
It’s those small gestures that made this weekend even more special.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to everyone who brought such positive energy and helped make this weekend everything it was and still is to me 🙂

I’m happy to see WTCR renewed for another three years, as well as our national races, which were so well organized by their respective promoters.
I truly hope we continue looking forward with a mindset of growth and improvement, year after year. May we never fall into complacency or the illusion that everything is already perfect when there is still so much room to evolve.

Time is short, but I still leave you with this small album, which for me holds far more than just photographs.
It holds memories, nostalgia, friendship, love, adrenaline, and a feeling that’s honestly hard to put into words.
