Adoro testar equipamentos novos por isso acompanhei um “Dia na Vida” de duas adolescentes, melhores amigas, unidas pela paixão pela ginástica e pelos trampolins, seguindo o ritmo do dia, documentando tudo com a nova Canon EOS R6 V, em conjunto com a objetiva Canon RF 20-50mm F4L IS USM PZ. Apesar da camara sido concebida a pensar nos criadores de vídeo, impressionou-me bastante pela forma como respondeu às exigências da fotografia documental. Eu queria sobretudo captar a cumplicidade e alegria, entre as duas, sem interferir no que acontecia e a possibilidade de alternar entre fotografia e vídeo de forma rápida e intuitiva permitiu-me registar cada momento sem interrupções, mesmo em condições de luz mais desafiantes. Já a objectiva RF 20-50mm F4L IS USM PZ foi ainda mais surpreendente, e fiquei com muita vontade de passar a te-la no meu kit de eventos, pela sua leveza, qualidade e versatilidade. No final, esta combinação permitiu-me fazer aquilo que mais gosto: captar histórias reais, feitas de momentos genuínos, espontâneos e sem poses.

I love testing new gear, so I spent a “Day in the Life” following the lives of two teenage best friends brought together by their shared passion for gymnastics and trampolining. I documented their day using the new Canon EOS R6 V paired with the Canon RF 20–50mm F4L IS USM PZ lens.
Although the camera was designed with video creators in mind, I was genuinely impressed by how well it handled the demands of documentary photography. My main goal was to capture their friendship and joy without interfering with what was happening, and the ability to switch quickly and intuitively between stills and video allowed me to document every moment seamlessly, even in more challenging lighting conditions.
The RF 20–50mm F4L IS USM PZ lens impressed me even more. Its lightweight design, image quality, and versatility left me seriously considering adding it to my event photography kit.
In the end, this combination allowed me to do what I enjoy most: telling real stories through genuine, spontaneous, unposed moments.
