Birthday Party: The most anticipated party of the year is always "M's" birthday.
Having documented her journey since she was born makes this celebration incredibly close to my heart. M's parties are a dream—stunning decor, vibrant energy, and always full of children, and this is where I’m in my element, as a documentary photographer: staying behind the scenes to capture the funniest, most unexpected moments exactly as they unfold, without ever breaking the magic.

Family is everything ♥️♥️♥️

This week I traveled to Rotterdam to speak at a conference for documentary family photographers, this makes me feel incredibly grateful to have been part of the amazing line of speakers with . Thank you so much for the invitation — it truly means a lot.

To all my friends who made these days unforgettable, and for the big collective hug I’ll carry with me for a long time… thank you.

A very special shoutout to for not giving up on me, when I felt disheartened last year when I lost my Instagram account and was unable to think about speaking on stage again, and to for helping me shape this presentation (and making me rehearse it about 80 times with slideshows😂😅). I couldn’t have done it without you. You’re next!

As I’m getting ready for next Friday’s masterclass, I keep going back through images from the past years… and honestly, I can’t help but laugh. Makes me realise how interesting all that can happen with the kids, without parents even noticing… the parts that end up meaning everything. (BTW the masterclass is free link in bio)

Enquanto me preparo para a masterclass da próxima sexta-feira, dou por mim a revisitar imagens dos últimos anos… e, sinceramente, não consigo evitar sorrir.
É tão interessante tudo o que pode acontecer com as crianças, sem os pais, se aperceberem… aquelas partes que, no fim, acabam por significar tudo.
