Families that return 💛

I think this was our 5th time meeting for a family session. They no longer live in Portugal but wanted to capture memories while on a short vacation at a place once was home 💛 I love photographing families in locations that hold special meaning. There’s nothing better than having pictures that bring back memories, right?

P.s. It might not seem like, but this was on a summer afternoon 😅. Guincho is always like this, unpredictable (actually predictable, always windy! 💨). But it did not stop us from having fun and capturing meaningful moments that truly reflect the essence of this family 💛

I love documenting your traditions and I love it even more when a photo session with me becomes one of them!💛

This is what Sherri wrote after our last session:

"The most magical photoshoot with Giedre. We have shared time together with her every year since Siena was just 3 weeks old. It's a favourite tradition. Siena and I spend so much of our time hiking the magical forest in the Sintra mountains to remind us of our special time together on this land. As usual, Giedre masterfully and seemingly effortlessly followed us around while we played. It was as if she was simply joining us for our hike".

Cannot wait to see what adventures this year holds! 💛💛💛

One of the things I love about this job is getting to know new places.

This family showed me a beautiful location just 30 minutes away from Lisbon, it is called Convento dos Capuchos in Costa da Caparica. Will be adding this place to my favorites list! 🙌🏼
