I’ve been meaning to post more in 2026 but the flu got this photographer down! But January has like 104 days so it doesn’t matter is it’s only been 13 days since the new years, right? Right?
While I start scheduling and playing with the grid aesthetics I stumbled with this moment from and I stopped for a full 2 minutes to admire it.

This is a reminder that sometimes you don’t have to pose at all for a photo to come out beautifully.

Another turkey day.
Celebrated in family a day earlier and as a wife, the day of, probably with no turkey but in one of my fave cities in the world.

2025 was a year of loss. A loss of loved ones. Friends and family. Was a year to remind myself why we keep the memory alive, why we photograph (and paint and write and sculpt). All the creative work comes before and after the sciences. And specially, when science can no longer help. Life is nothing but a joke.

This was also a year of loss of the self. I thought I rediscovered myself and my photography in the beginning of the year. I rebranded, I found a voice. Only to be put to the ground at the very first shot. I’m still struggling with the sense of self, belonging and purpose. This was the year I said out loud that I wanted to quit photography.

This was also a very happy and lovey year. Was the year I got married. The year I honeymooned 3 times. Was a year dedicated to love and loved ones.

There’s beauty in the balance even tho it doesnt feel all that balanced while I am feeling those feelings, funny enough.

And yet again, I am thankful for Greys Anatomy (this series will outlive is all), Stranger Things and Anne with an E, Gilmore Girls and nights that become mornings. Thankful for snowflakes and not-that-much-rain. Thankful for the travels always with the best company. Thankful for the photos that people take of me, means more than I can express. Thankful for cinnamon buns and brunches and pancakes and all the good sugary stuff. Thankful for meaningful talks and honest blogs. Thankful for shoes that keep my spine and feet okay even when I walk 40000 steps. Thankful for the crazies that go along with my crazy. Sushi and pizza and wings on the couch watching whatever. Warm breezy nights but also cold crispy mornings. Fog. All the foggy roads that keeps me in awe with the uncertainty. I guess it’s a trait that was always in me. Drone shots and phone shots and finally getting two dream analogue cameras.

There was this tiny moment as we were walking when I had to stop Ana to take her portrait right before we made a reel with “but Daddy I love him” song as she run across the venue ahaha!

Here’s to Ana. My golden hearted, intense, full of big feelings gurl.

But not on her wedding day. She was calm and grounded. She was present.

People always assume photographers fear losing memory cards, batteries dying, or gear failing, and that IS true.. but honestly, that’s not just it for me.

What scares me most is realizing one day that i captured every love, every laugh, every quiet in-between moment for others… and barely any of mine.

Maybe it’s the job. maybe it’s just life moving too fast. but lately, i’ve been trying to take my own photos again. Not just the perfect, well-lit ones, but the blurry, messy, beautiful ones. The ones that remind me I was there. And I used to think those photos were too tacky! Now, years later, I miss not having those.

I am the happiest when I an photographing other people’s stories… I just want to make sure i’m living and documenting mine too.

The wonderful wedding of Alison & Matthew in analogue.

I can’t tell you how happy I was at this beautiful wedding, one of the most specials of the year in one of my favorite venues. I can’t stop smiling while I am editing this one.
