Catching the final moments of daylight in Vila Nova de Santo André. There is a distinct quietness to the way the urban landscape settles during golden hour. Managed to frame the sun just as it dipped behind the buildings, throwing sharp, dramatic light rays across the trees and catching the clean reflections on the parked cars below. The warm gradients and high contrast were rendered beautifully by the Canon setup, preserving every ounce of that Alentejo coastal glow.

Walking through the quiet alleys of Borgo Medioevale di Canale di Tenno feels like stepping straight back into the 14th century. Every corner of this stone village holds a story, from the rustic iron lanterns casting shadows on the cobblestones to the historic murals and the old relief carving dated 1776 on the weathered walls. Framed perfectly by dark stone arches, the narrow paths open up to striking views of the church tower overlooking green valley terraces, with the snow-capped mountain peaks and a misty lake shimmering in the distance.
There’s a raw, tactile quality to these ancient structures that always challenges you to look closer at the details—like the blacksmith banner hanging overhead or the dried corn husks decorating a wooden balcony. My Canon setup captured the rich textures of the mountain stone and the subtle, moody winter light across the valley beautifully.

There is something deeply peaceful about watching the world turn white while wandering through the Piazza delle Erbe. 🏔️🥨

Looking down from the windows of the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology – the home of the incredibly preserved Ötzi the Iceman – a different kind of frozen story unfolds. Umbrellas paint graphic points of color on the snowy canvas of crosswalks. Love how the high angle adds drama to the urban patterns.
