Silence. The day slows down, the kingdom watches.

Chobe welcomed me like this, between water, light and rain.
Where the landscape breathes, giants walk, and the river tells stories without words.

Impossible to remain indifferent. 😊

When I took this photograph, you were walking slowly across the plain, and I knew it would be the last time.
In silence, I said goodbye without words.

I photographed you as you moved away, small within the vast space you had always inhabited with such dignity.
Gentle giant, serene.

You carry with you all our encounters, all the shared silences, every moment, every memory created.

This was the final image.
And perhaps for that very reason, it is also the most difficult — and the most cherished.

Rest in peace, Craig.
Thank you for all that you were.
