Uzbekistan felt like one of those places that stays with you long after you leave. There is still a sense of quiet discovery there, with less tourism than in many other destinations, which makes every street, courtyard, and corner feel even more special. The food was incredible, the architecture endlessly inspiring, and the history seemed to live everywhere you looked.
And then there were the patterns... anyone who knows me knows I can never resist a good pattern hunting.
Tiles, textiles, shadows, repetition, small details that say so much about a place without needing words. For me, that is one of the most beautiful parts of travelling: not just seeing a place, but really noticing it.
Thanks to and all of these images were taken with the Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III, which turned out to be such a good companion for this trip. Its compact size made it easy to carry everywhere, the fast lens was perfect for low light and everyday moments, and the image quality made it ideal for capturing both the bigger scenes and the smaller details I am always drawn to. It felt like the perfect balance between convenience and creative freedom for a journey like this.
If you are someone who loves travelling, getting a little lost, and finding beauty in the details along the way... you probably understand exactly why this place felt so special.
