MIRA Pinhole in the schools! / MIRA Pinhole vai à biblioteca!
EN// The first activity of the partnership between MIRA Galerias and the Rodrigues de Freitas School Group | Jaime Cortesão Library took place today, February 26, in the classic setting of the Library.
The auditorium was filled with students from three secondary school classes and several teachers who listened with interest to the presentations by Manuela Matos Monteiro, photographer and director of MIRA Galerias (formerly a teacher), and António Martins Teixeira, teacher at Rodrigues de Freitas Secondary School, renowned photographer, and photography instructor. His specialty is pinhole photography, which he presented with humor and technical mastery.
At the end of the session, the students appreciated, with a new perspective, the photographs on display, which are the result of an exhibition held annually at the MIRA Galleries. There is an international competition – MIRA Pinhole Photography – and a jury selects the best images, which are now on display at the Rodrigues de Freitas School Group Library.
The students were invited to learn how to take pinhole photographs and compete in the next edition of MIRA Pinhole Photography!

A primeira atividade da parceria entre as MIRA Galerias e o Agrupamento de Escolas Rodrigues de Freitas | Biblioteca Jaime Cortesão aconteceu hoje, 26 de fevereiro no ambiente clássico da Biblioteca.
O auditório encheu-se com alunos de 3 turmas do Ensino Secundário e vários professores que acompanharam com interesse as apresentações de Manuela Matos Monteiro, fotógrafa e diretora das MIRA Galerias (antes, professora) e António Martins Teixeira, professor da Escola Secundária Rodrigues de Freitas, conceituado fotógrafo e formador de fotografia. A sua especialidade é a fotografia pinhole que ele apresentou com humor e domínio técnico.
Ficou o convite para que os alunos aprendam a fazer fotografia pinhole e concorram à próxima edição do MIRA Pinhole Photography!
