A little thank you to those who messaged me after my last post 🖤

I really appreciated the messages, especially knowing that most of them came from people who barely know me, but still took the time to reach out and say something supportive about my work.

Sometimes you put something out there and have no idea how it's going to be received, so having people take a moment to tell you that it connected with them really means a lot.

I've been creatively stuck for a while. Properly stuck.
The kind where you have ideas, but then immediately start questioning them. Is it good enough? Is it interesting enough? Does it have a point? Will anyone care?

And honestly, I'm tired of it.

Somewhere along the way, creating stopped being just creating. Everything needs a concept, a reason, a purpose. Something that can be explained. Something people will like. Something worth paying for.

Maybe that's why I'm struggling.

I think I've forgotten how to make something simply because I f*ing wanted to.

Maybe these photos don't need a deeper meaning. Maybe they don't need to be empowering, sexy, clever, or anything else. Maybe I just wanted to climb onto a wall, take my clothes off, and take some pictures.

And maybe I don't need to know where this is going.

So I'm going to make things anyway and figure out their meaning later.
