Documentary about our dolphin & and navy sonar work!

On our last fieldwork season in Catalina Island in 2024, California, a film crew joined us. This documentary shows how we work in the field to collect data on common and bottlenose dolphins, and their responses to experimental navy sonar. The documentary shows how dolphins respond to navy sonar.

The navy sonar does important work and it's even more important to investigate the effects that human activities have on animals so that we can mitigate negative effects on the animals as much as possible!
