Multidisciplinary graphic designer from the Azores, a nine islands’ archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic. Working with branding, editorial and web design with an endemic approach to the practice.
I have a degree in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon where I acquired many skills and really understood the importance of collective work. I am quite organized and strongly independent.
Used to the Azorean weather, where there are four seasons in a day, I adapt to different projects and challenges, looking at my work with a critical and sharp eye. Being a gen z, made me a born user of the internet, social media and a research enthusiast. It sharpened my interest in political movements and causes like inclusivity, mobility and climate change. When not working, you can find me cycling, running, in the gym or at museums, concerts or the theatre. My friends say I’m a cultural agenda and I photograph everything!
Currently based in Lisbon, traveling and discovering the world in between. Not stuck in one place and doing everything. I’m always looking for new projects and new people to collaborate with! Constantly trying to improve, lead by curiosity and looking for creative and unique ways to develop my practice. I always want to learn and develop as an individual.
I had the opportunity to be the communication director of Folk Azores festival, to volunteer at Bienal of Contemporary Arts of Lisbon and Walk&Talk - Arts Festival. Did the scholarship programme of Web Summit and several trainings in photography, digital marketing and entrepreneurship.
Alongside some colleagues, I co-founded .design, an agenda curated by designers to give visibility to designers, studios, collectives and platforms, in an open and participatory way, assuming design as a social and political practice.
