A session at one of the most famous surf spots in Nicaragua, Popoyo 🇳🇮
When I left , the place I am staying at, to walk down to the closest beach to shoot my first session in the water, I was lucky that & were passing by with their truck and offered me a ride there 🛻
We kept in contact and 2 days after we met to go to Popoyo.

During my first shooting session in the water here in Nicaragua I was lucky to observe something truly beautiful and magical
A proud dad was helping his daughter to improve her surfing skills. After every wave she caught, he went to pick her up from the inside to paddle her back to the outside. Then he directly pushed her into the next good wave again
It was beautiful to see her smile and joy after every wave, her dad was cheering and I could see the pride in his face. I could also spot the mother filming and observing from the beach
There's probably no better way to strengthen the bond between a father and his child than by doing something together that both of them love
I think this is a good reminder that no matter how often you tell someone you love them, you truly show it by spending time together 🤍
