I think it's time to admit it: I'm a terrible blogger.

I have so many photoshoots that I absolutely love, yet somehow they never made it to Instagram. This session in the palace gardens is one of them.

It was photographed a couple of years ago. Posted only now.

So I've decided to start going through my archives and gradually share the work that's been waiting far too long to be seen.

Brand shoots are just a completely different type of work.

For example, with .store we work based on references and instructions from the marketing agency. The goal is to create very specific images for the website, social media and advertising.

On one hand, it makes part of the process easier because the whole team already understands the final result we need.

On the other hand, there is a huge amount of logistics happening behind the scenes. One day we shoot in a studio, another day we need a specific street background in Lisbon, then a beach or a hotel location. Everything has to match the timing, locations, light and schedules of the whole team.

But this kind of preparation makes the actual shoot much faster. When everyone clearly understands the task, we can shoot several looks within one hour and create a lot of different content for the brand.

This shoot was for a musician and performer who needed visuals for her song releases - .
Not just beautiful photos, but images that would feel connected to the music itself.

Before shoots like this, I always ask clients to send me the tracks, lyrics, drafts, references, everything that helps me understand the atmosphere and emotion behind the project.

With ’s music, there was this strong feeling of depth and immersion. Like slowly sinking underwater and staying alone with your thoughts. That’s how the idea of shooting in the ocean appeared.

It looked beautiful in the photos. In reality, the Atlantic Ocean was freezing 😅
So this shoot definitely required courage from .

But I think that’s exactly why the images feel so real.
