some BIG NEWS 🤍 to end this year well, I want to share with you all a very special project, that is close to my heart, that started back 2020, during the pandemic and is now a reality. To those of you who know my work since that time, I have been inspired by my great Grandfather's poetry for a long time, and inclusively mentioned and shared some of his poems in my project "Miragem". His books, however, were never published besides the authors' edition, which are now in possession of my mom and my uncles, as well as the local Archival Library.

I felt that more people needed to hear, read, feel his words. So I have compiled all his 3 books of poems into one single book, and I have also included some of my photographs which I made specially for this project.

The book release takes place on the 2nd of January in Quinta Magnolia at 16:30pm. I hope to see you there to celebrate this very special moment! 🌹

There's something really beautiful about creating organically, with people who inspire you. The simplicity of this shoot is what I was looking for, yet the results turned out better then I imagined. Thank you

It's always a bittersweet feeling when an exhibition comes to an end... The 17th of September was the last day of "olhei - e finalmente vi", my photography solo show that featured images done in the past 2 years, mostly unseen images that are close to my heart.

This whole project has been a big challenge for me as a creative, from not really knowing if the images I had would be enough, to having troubles with the materials I chose, to delays on printing process. But all in all, challenges are important because it makes us grow and I certainly know what I have learnt from this experience.

That being said, I want to use this moment to again show my gratitude for these people:

I am eternally grateful for Prof. Emanuel Gaspar for inviting me to showcase my work in, my opinion, one of the most beautiful gallery spaces in the island, next to the ocean, and one I specifically had a dream to exhibit in. Thank you for believing in me and my vision and giving young people this kind of opportunity.

Thank you also to the team of designers and interns of who helped with the design of posters, flyers etc and setting up of everything. Thank you also to my parents for their unconditional love and support of everything I do!

Thank you to my friends and models who have been a part of some of the photographs!

Thank you .brouwer.rodrigues and for the most beautiful photos and video of the space.

And thank you to all the people that took time of their day to visit the space and connect with the work!
