Possible hybridization between bottlenose dolphin and common dolphin? Today in the afternoon trip right after arriving to a large group of common dolphins this grey dolphin just popped up on the side of the boat together with common dolphins, very shy animal that we sighted one or two times only, we felt that dolphin was something diferent, that feeling that is not one thing or another, that beak, that forehead, that round chubby body, colouration... now tell me, what do you think about it? ;)

Açores- 9 Ilhas 1 Oceano

No passado dia 14 de Julho, no Parlamento Europeu em Bruxelas estive na Inauguração da Exposição fotográfica 9 Ilhas 1 Oceano organizada pela Fundação Ocean Azores Foundation.
Esta exposição foi a seleção entre centenas de imagens submetidas ao concurso Ocean Azores Photographer 2024 em que as melhores imagens foram as expostas incluindo a vencedora do concurso sendo esta da minha autoria.

Quero agradecer em primeiro lugar ao meu querido grande amigo Ali Bullock em que a sua visão continue sempre a inspirar este projeto, à Caroline Sprod pela sua gentileza do convite, ao meu grande amigo Luis Nunes presidente da Fundação Ocean Azores, à equipa do Espaço Talassa - the original Azorean Whale Watching.

Aproveito para agradecer pela Inauguração da Exposição ao Comissário Europeu para as Pescas e Oceanos Costas Kadis, à Presidente do grupo S&D Iratxe Garcia Perez e ao Eurodeputado pelos Açores André Franqueira Rodrigues.
