Because NEOWISE comet was discovered on my birthday I had to try and picture it.
My expectations were higher but the conditions weren't great.
From the top of Cerro de São Miguel in Algarve, Portugal, facing northwest there was a huge ligth cloud from the city São Brás de Alportel making it impossible to see without any gear.
Basically it was blind point and shoot until get it in frame to have a reference.
At 22h the comet was visible but already too low, being inside that layer of light pollution.
By 23h it was really near the horizon and making any picture a real challenge.
In the end, the real winner is Ursa Major that is always present! :D
