I had the pleasure of leading a photo walk during the Fotoforma.pl Festival, which I titled “Between Posing and Spontaneity”.

And guess what? We couldn’t have planned the spontaneous part any better!

We started the shoot with our models near the National Stadium in Warsaw, focusing on posing and creating intentional images. Then, on our way by tram to another location, the tram suddenly broke down.

What a plot twist!

Everyone had to get off, leaving us with an unexpected opportunity right in the middle of Poniatowski Bridge. An empty tram. Empty tram tracks. Our models. And Warsaw as our playground.

Of course, we couldn’t let a moment like this go to waste. We turned an unexpected situation into a unique shooting opportunity, creating images we could never have planned in advance.

And that’s exactly what I love about photography: sometimes, the most beautiful moments happen when you let go of the plan and embrace what’s happening right in front of you.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined my photo walk! Thank you for your enthusiasm, creativity, openness, and for embracing the unexpected with me. You made this experience truly special, and I’m so happy we got to create something beautiful together.

After more than a decade of living in Poland, my parents’ friends — who have also become my friends — are heading back to the United States today.

It’s bittersweet to say goodbye, but I’m grateful for all the years we’ve shared here. I’ll always remember their positivity and their ability not to take life too seriously, always keeping a sense of humour and perspective.

And I’m especially glad I took these photos in Katowice to keep those memories alive.

Some gifts last a moment. Others become memories for a lifetime.

This photoshoot in Faro was a special gift from Marie’s parents to celebrate her journey into adulthood. And what I loved most was how many different sides of her personality we managed to capture.

Elegant and confident. Playful and carefree. Quiet and thoughtful. Full of dreams and ready for new adventures.

I believe the best portraits are not about one perfect pose, but about telling a story through different emotions, places, and moments.

Happy adulthood, Marie. May you always stay true to every version of yourself.

This was one of those sessions where everything came together perfectly.

The connection between me and the couple, L&W, felt effortless from the very beginning. Full trust in the photographer, beautiful energy, and the ability to simply enjoy each other while being open to a few gentle directions along the way.

On my side, it was about carefully listening to their wishes and then thoughtfully choosing the beach, the right time of day, and the perfect tide — every detail mattered.

And what I love the most — we planned a slightly longer, two-hour session so we could enjoy the golden hour, sunset, and finally the blue hour with lanterns.

Thank you for this experience. It truly felt like one of those moments where all of us got to live a little piece of our dream in the Algarve.

Joelle and Levi came to Faro for some true quality time — just the two of them, mother and son, leaving the rest of the family at home.

There was something incredibly beautiful in their connection. Present, natural, full of warmth and trust.

And Levi… a little volcano of energy.
Full of joy, curiosity, and the most positive way of seeing the world. A truly wonderful child.

He completely owned the session — the real boss of the day.
And his “Six Seven” moment only confirmed how unexpectedly iconic these numbers have become.
