It’s been a couple of years since I’ve posted in this account..the truth is that after the virus confinement I never found the motivation for landscape and to me that’s ok honestly. I kinda see landscape photography in a package of “going out in nature” and if I’m doing that, either mountain biking or hiking I’m happy even without the camera. But it doesn’t mean I haven’t been doing some photos…professionally I’ve always worked with portrait photography at and lately I’ve been having lots of fun doing tours with . working in river tours in Lisbon in particular has really brought the passion and so today I was compiling some photos I take between work and I’ll be sharing some of the best ones - they are not super perfect, and I don’t have all the equipment I wished for them but hope you like it , cheers !

It's been a while since my last post - Just haven't found the oportunity to photograph. 2020 is a year we all gonna remember for various reasons and for me it was a year of staying home a lot with the kids and not photographing that much.
This photo is 3 years old, and was taken with a 30+ year old lens my dad gave me - I got an adapter for digital cameras and started experimenting with it...Had lots of fun experimenting with the lens amazing light flares and how the camera interpert it :)

Today is the second week straight of extreme heat here in Portugal - I was remembering colder and rainier days from last summer in the Lake District UK and this photo came up...On this day of August it rained 24 hours straight but I have such good memories of it...walking around this village everything was so vivid and contrasty, the colors popped out against this dark sky, and I really pushed my weather sealed camera to the max :)

OUT OF THE ASHES
Almost 2 years ago the west side of the Sintra mountains burned almost completly. At the time i was exploring this parts for some photos and the next day all was ashes..It was a sad sight to see - Fast forward and some days ago as i was mountain biking i noticed how everything was so different, you could no longer notice the black soil because it was conpleatly covered by thick bush and the flowers of the season.The only remnant of the fire is the old burned trees - Out of the ashes life always finds a way.

i came to lakebuttermere after the famous lone tree - Next to it, in the pouring rain was this old tree trunk that cought my eye because it had lots of caracter. I took a few quik handeld pictures but to be honest forgot about them untill the other day as i was going trough my unselected photos i came acroos this one...Its not the type of image i do but i liked how somber and moody everything looks so i thought on sharing :)
