hot brew originated in the Souks of Marrakech, more precisely in the Souk Sebbaghine, the Dyers Souk or Souk des Teinturiers. This corner of the immense markets of Marrakech is open to visitors, allowing them to sense its magic - where hard working men produce colourful fabric form natural ingredients.

The centuries-old process requires experience, heavy physical effort, a strong hand. Fire, heat, steam, dust and sweat dominate the scenery. hot brew is a very dense, focussed representation of the moment - with minimal strong graphics, almost monochrome colours, stark contrasts.

hot brew is offered as a numbered, signed original in limited editions, printed on premium quality foto paper, about 80x60 cm with a 3 cm white margin, without watermark.

bag boys originated in Karatu, Tanzania. It's a lazy afternoon, friends hanging out with friends. Or not? Actually it's a normal work day on the local market, merchants busyly buying and selling their trade. Onions are in high demand and supply is abundant - carried to the stands in large bags. They of course need to be watched and three youngsters have committed to perform the challenging task. Or not? Maybe we just need a bit of a rest...
