Well, here we are. Cheers to two years of being in Portugal. Parabéns a mim!

I came here with little to no plan, but I knew I was ready to experience a different way of living. There have been losses I never expected, moments of uncertainty I couldn’t have prepared for, and plenty of days when I wondered if I had made the right decision.

I’ve said it a thousand times and I’ll probably say it a thousand more: this has been one of the most challenging and rewarding things I’ve ever done, and I don’t think there’s a single thing I would change.

There have been so many hellos, so many goodbyes, unexpected friendships, beautiful places, questionable decisions, and more than a few “what the f*ck?” and “cazzo vaffanculo” moments.

But somehow, here I am. Two years later. Still figuring it out, still growing, and still incredibly grateful.

This little hike brought me so much joy. I couldn’t wait to reactivate Instagram to share a few photos from this adventure to the most western part of continental Europe and then from the climb down to Praia Da Ursa. Portugal has so many spectacular views and I can’t wait to see them all.

I am a sucker for an A24 film, but all bias aside, I thought “Queer” was truly incredible. Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey absolutely nailed their performances, bringing so much vulnerability, tension, and chemistry to the screen. It’s a beautifully crafted film that lingers with you.

I’ve really been enjoying my photo-walks lately. Taking time to enjoy the warm sun and smell all the aromas that come with the morning. It’s been a nice reminder to slow down, observe, and appreciate the little moments that usually pass by unnoticed.

What a month, am I right? I told myself in 2026 I would post more, but damn, I find it incredibly difficult to post about all the fun things I’ve done, all the incredible people I’ve worked with, and all the pretty pictures I’ve taken while people are getting k*dnapped and m*rdered. WEIRD.

But hey, as long as the price of eggs went down it was all worth it. 🫶
