I remember very fondly the vacations I had with my family along this coast. Everyday we would visit a different beach, some of them we found on the maps we always had in the car, some of them we found just stumbling upon them. And so often they were completely empty, all for ourselves in the middle of August. There was one beach that stuck with us, one of those we stumbled upon. My dad went swimming a little too far (like dads do) and ended up discovering another beach, a tiny one, after the cliffs, and came back to call us to check it out. I still remember the way to get there and being a little bit afraid of the strength of the waves because I was maybe 10 years old but being too curious to chicken out. Everyone loved that day and it was a memory that stuck with us, but no one could remember where the beach was after that. And so, for the next few years, we would be stoping at every location that had a stream of water and rocks in the ocean. Then one day we did find it and it became my favorite place. When coming back from Algarve in 2022 I asked to do a quick stop there because I hadn’t seen it for more than a decade and it brought so many memories back. I wish I could have gone for a swim but at least I saw the sunset with my feet in the water and a nostalgic smile on my face 🔆🎞️

I had been so excited to do a proper photoshoot with a guy. It’s more common to have a girl interested in being photographed but I also had so many ideas that would fit a man so well (still do! Just dm me and we’ll do it). So I had Gabriel, an abandoned ship and a fresh roll of Fujifilm Superia that renderer such beautiful and cohesive tones that I’m quite excited to experiment more with it 🎞️

This first photo is my favorite photo I ever took of . I delayed posting it for more than 2 years because it never seemed like the right time (I have issues). I seem to be getting out of a funk with film photography so I hope there will be pictures I like just as much in the near future to share

Some kind of selfie on film if you notice the reflection. And if people with pretty cars would try to maintain them clean out of respect for film photographers, that would be very appreciated 😅

Quando fui a Lisboa quis ser turista à séria! Porque passear é uma coisa para se levar a sério também. Tinha de andar no 28 como quando era miúda e íamos passar o fim-de-semana com o meu pai no seu hotel flutuante (o que a minha mãe chamava aos navios onde ele trabalhava sempre que íamos lá dormir), ver museus, as vistas bonitas, descobrir restaurantes, relembrar o cheiro da cidade quando o calor dissipava e comer um pastel de Belém. Mas agora documentar tudo isto com as minhas câmaras analógicas. E assim fiz!
