Serenity (16 November, 2022 Armação de Pêra)

Taken at 3am, when all is quiet and sleeping but the waves washing away the days multitudinous foot prints in the sand. This is when I roam the cobblestone paths and soak up the beauty by moonlight.

Serenity is not the absence of conflict but ones ability to cope with it.

Life will never stop. I've learned that the good times are a recovery period for the next trial this life will throw at me.
It's okay to have troubled times. Life can be incredibly heavy. But don't stay there and don't allow the heavy to dictate your life, and more so, your reactions. Don't stay in the darkness, and don't allow things to cause you to stray from your truth.

Cry it out, curse it out, and feel the feels. Just remember to straighten your crown and move forward. Don't damage yourself or others in the process.

Live in the light.
