I guess I’m not that normal…
or maybe just a bit of a wild soul 🦊missing those nights out in nature, far from everything.

It’s been about a month, and I can already feel it pulling me back.
The cold air, slow mornings, the quiet, and that feeling of being completely free.

A few memories from where I feel most alive 🤍

For those who follow me, you know I’m usually out there. Exploring and sleeping under the stars.

But sometimes, it feels right to slow down for a few days.

I stayed at Huertas del Abrilongo , in Extremadura, right on the border between Portugal and Spain, a place where a small stream divides the two countries.

A small family project, deeply connected to nature. Not touristic, not rushed. Just calm, intentional living, with a vegan approach you can feel in every detail.

If I have to stay somewhere, it has to be a place like this!

Javi, who runs the space, was incredible, always attentive and sharing the best local trails. Thanks to that, I explored hidden paths, found wildlife, and discovered beautiful spots to photograph.

A reminder that sometimes we just need to disconnect for a bit.

Whether you come alone to reset, or share it with someone you love, it’s the kind of place that stays with you 🤍

Would you stay somewhere like this?

On the border between Portugal and Spain,
I slowed down.

Sometimes I need this.
To stop, no screens, just hikes and nature.

A few quiet days to breathe, explore, and reconnect.

Leaving here a few frames of these magnificent vultures, seen in their natural habitat, wild and free.

In their world, not mine.

Girls can too 🤍
For every girl finding her own path.

Grateful for the strong women in my life, and for the brands that support and believe in me.

Winter camping isn’t for everyone, but for me it holds a special kind of magic.

Winter mornings bring misty landscapes, quiet forests and slow sunrises that feel almost suspended in time. The days are colder, yes, but nothing compares to the feeling of winter sun touching your skin after a freezing night outside.

It’s also the season when nature feels calmer and wilder at the same time. Fewer people, deeper silence, and wildlife moving more freely across the landscape.

Camping in winter asks for more preparation, but it also gives back something rare: solitude, stillness, and a deeper connection with the wild.

We’ve been talking about forests.
About trees.
About natural barriers that protect us.

But what about the ocean?

Why is it so important?
Why do we forget about it?
Why don’t we realise how much our survival depends on it?

The ocean regulates our climate.
Absorbs heat.
Produces oxygen.
Shapes storms.
Balances life.

It’s invisible work.
And maybe that’s why we overlook it.

But without a healthy ocean,
nothing else holds.

If you want to understand it better, explore the work of Sea Shepherd Global and watch Seaspiracy

The ocean isn’t far away.
It’s part of us.

An ancient barrier that no longer exists | Pinhal de Leiria

This forest was planted over 700 years ago to protect Portugal’s central west coast from strong winds, sand and storms.
Back then, people already understood how nature could protect us, and how to work with it.

The Pinhal de Leiria once covered 11,080 hectares.
In 2017, criminal fires burned around 9,500 hectares of it.

We are now in 2026.
Only about 340 hectares have been replanted.

Trees don’t work alone.
A forest is a system , isolated trees or small patches are fragile, unable to protect themselves or the land around them.
When Storm Kristin hit, many of the few remaining old trees were uprooted or snapped in half.

Villages and cities were exposed.
Homes were destroyed.
Lives were lost.

This didn’t start with the storm.
The Pinhal de Leiria was once called the lungs of Portugal.
But this is about more than trees. It’s about climate change, biodiversity, soil protection and human safety.

Recovery is not just planting trees.
It’s long-term management, diversity, and letting ecosystems heal.

If you’re reading this:
talk about it, share it, question it.
And please — leave the wood and fallen pines on the ground.
The soil needs organic matter to recover, and when replanting is absent, nature must be allowed to do its work 🌱
