Portfolio: A Division of Architectural Studio We are a group of licensed architects passionate about all that is DESIGN. Art and design surrounds us and we are very conscious, curious and mesmerized by it and as so, we chose to create a space where we can explore it further. Our College Portfolio Workshops aim to help high school students and college transfer students build a multidisciplinary body of work ready for college submissions to any design-oriented program. Students will be instructed and coached to work on a wide range of media such as: free hand drawing and sketching, charcoal, acrylic or oil paintings, paper, chipboard, mixed media, photography, collage, graphic design and model making. During the sessions comprised by our workshop, our students will be challenged to do a series of works which will be instructed and guided by our staff. Input into how to excel on these challenges is also part of our endeavor and so is giving the opportunity to redo and better the work during our time apart. By the end of the portfolio workshop each student will have a series of original works on different media. The works will be digitally documented. The end result of the workshop will be a digital file of the student’s portfolio in which the student may keep working on his/her folio format and presentation as well as adding other original works. Portfolio will be standardized to comply with the nation’s top architecture and art programs in Puerto Rico and the United States. High school students up to senior year (10th-12th grade) and college transfer students are welcome to register under our Portfolio Workshop. On the other hand, for those students who are pressed for time or prefer individualized attention we offer 1-on-1 sessions. Our next Portfolio Workshop begins June 2018 with limited spaces available.
