Asher battled with the best of them all weekend. Heavy heats, stacked divisions, and zero backing down. When it mattered, he answered.

Jobos isn’t a soft proving ground — and Asher showed he belongs in the mix. 🌊🔥

🥇 JR Boys – NSSA Jr Pro, Jobos
🥇 Boys 12–14 – East Coast Grom Tour, Jobos
🥈 Open Division – East Coast Grom Tour, Jobos

When the yellow helmet paddles out, you already know it’s about to go down.

For a photographer, a distinctive feature like that is gold. Easy to track. Easy to frame. Easy to build a sequence around. But Parko doesn’t need anything to stand out. The way he positions himself. The way he commits. The way he finishes waves. Everyone in the lineup knows when he’s out there.

All weekend he battled heavy, tricky surf at Jobos. Wind shifts. Sections that wouldn’t wait. He stayed patient and picked his moments.

In the Open division he proved he belongs. Then the next day at the NSSA Jr Pro, he wasted zero time in the finals. First minute of the heat — he snagged the wave of the afternoon and capitalized. That single decision set the tone.

That’s what separates contenders from winners.
Awareness. Confidence. Ex*****on.

The yellow helmet might catch your eye.
But the surfing is what keeps it there.

Wolfgang barely missed the win in the 12–14 division, then backed it up with a 4th in the Jr Pro.

Rough, shifty Jobos conditions all weekend. He leaned into it with his own style and serious intent.

Best moment? Finished a heat, ran up the beach, swapped jerseys, paddled straight back out. No complaints. Just back to work.

Charged every round 🤙

At the 2026 East Coast Grom Tour in Jobos, PR, the lineup was anything but friendly. Wind on it. Chunky sections. Peaks shifting all day. The kind of conditions that test heart more than highlight reels.

Shakti Martinez stepped into that chaos and delivered.

She earned 1st Place in Women’s Open Shortboard and 2nd Place in Girls 12–14 — but the story runs deeper than the results sheet.

In the Girls division, it was a tough loss. The kind that sits heavy for a minute. You could see it. She had the waves. She had the turns. It just didn’t swing her way. Heartbreak heat.

A lot of competitors would have let that carry into the next round. Blamed the conditions. Blamed priority. Packed it up mentally.

She did the opposite.

Shakti reset. Refocused. Walked back down the beach with purpose and paddled out for Women’s Open ready to answer.

The surf was still rough. Still unpredictable. But this time she owned it. Strong positioning. Smart wave selection. No hesitation.

She didn’t just surf to compete — she surfed to make a statement.

That’s championship mentality.

Not defined by the loss. Defined by the response.

1st Place Girls 12–14
2nd Place Women’s Open Shortboard
East Coast Grom Tour • Jobos, PR

Kendall stepped into the premier battle of the weekend and never blinked.

In heavy, uneven Jobos surf, she showed power and poise well beyond her years. Confident rail work. Committed turns. No hesitation when it counted. While others struggled with the conditions, she stayed locked in and surfed smart.

Winning her division and backing it up with a runner-up finish in the Open is not normal for a young grom. That’s presence.

Expect much bigger things from Kendall. This is just the beginning!

Jobos Beach PR 🇵🇷

What a day!!

Beautiful sun, warm water, and a stacked lineup of groms ready to rip. Jobos wasn’t exactly playing nice either. The waves were rough, wind-textured, shifty, and tough to read. But that didn’t slow anyone down.

These kids were charging!!

The standout showdown of the weekend was Shakti Martinez and Kendall Dimmick in the women’s divisions. Heat after heat they kept answering each other. Big turns, smart wave selection, total composure in messy surf. They ended up swapping titles, which says everything about how tight that battle was.

On the boys’ side, Ryan Parkinson put on a clinic. Dominant from the first heat to the final. Confident, powerful, and in rhythm all day. When the waves got tricky, he looked even more locked in.

Heavy conditions.
High level surfing.
The future is bright.

Jobos always delivers. And this next generation is coming in hot. 🌊🔥
