Seaborne Airlines was officially sold to Silver Airways on April 23, 2018, after Seaborne entered a bankruptcy restructuring earlier that year.

Subsequently in June 2025 Silver Airways ceased operations entirely and filed for liquidation. Since then, Seaborne has continued to operate independently, focusing primarily on its seaplane service.
