Zimą Potsdam wygląda zupełnie inaczej — bez bujnej zieleni architektura staje się bardziej wyrazista i surowa, ale jednocześnie bardzo elegancka. Pałace, klasyczne fasady i szerokie aleje nabierają spokojnego, nostalgicznego charakteru. Jednym z symboli miasta jest Pałac Sanssouci, letnia rezydencja Fryderyka Wielkiego z lat 1745–1747, która nawet zimą robi ogromne wrażenie. Warto też odwiedzić Aleksandrówkę — rosyjską kolonię założoną w 1826 roku na cześć cara Aleksandra I.
In winter, Potsdam feels quieter and more reflective. Without lush greenery, the elegance of its architecture stands out even more. Sanssouci Palace, built between 1745 and 1747 as the summer residence of Frederick the Great, remains one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Alexandrowka village, founded in 1826, adds a unique historical charm with its traditional wooden houses.
