Most people know Boca through its colourful houses and the crowded streets of Caminito.

But what has always interested me is what exists beyond that image.

The streets where people actually live.
The corners that tourists rarely reach.
The everyday life unfolds behind what is usually photographed.

This is the Boca I keep coming back to with my camera.

These are a few fragments from a city that keeps calling me back.

Not the landmarks.
Not the highlights.

Just moments that stayed.

Tell me about your place.

More from this archive throughout the month.

Buenos Aires is not a city you visit.
It is a city you slowly grow into.

Its beauty is not immediate or obvious. It reveals itself quietly — in morning light falling on empty streets, in old cafés where conversations overlap, in people simply living their everyday lives without performance.

The longer I stay, the more I notice things I didn’t see before.
And maybe that is why I always return.

👉 If you’d like to stay closer to this journey, my Quiet Studio Letter is where I share stories behind the images (link in comments).

✨ A City I Keep Returning To ✨

Some places impress you. Others stay with you in a quieter way, without trying to.

Buenos Aires has never been a city I approached as something to “see”. It has always been a place I return to — for its atmosphere, slow mornings, familiar cafés, long walks without direction, and conversations that often start without a plan.

I rarely follow the usual routes or visit the well-known landmarks. Instead, I spend time in parks, walk through side streets, and try — just for a moment — to blend into the rhythm of the city, as if I belonged to it.

This month I’ll be sharing fragments from that ongoing archive.
A city I keep returning to.

More soon.

There is a quiet pattern running through these images.

Streets, pauses, fragments of presence —
moments that don’t ask to be noticed, but stay anyway.

This is an ongoing archive of ordinary life, seen slowly.

There are photographs that feel complete the moment they are taken.
And there are those that only start to exist later — when you return to them again and again.

This is one of those images.
I don’t remember it as a composition.
I remember it as a feeling that didn’t leave quickly.

A small interruption in time.
Something ordinary that suddenly felt unordinary.

Those photographs are available as a limited edition fine art print.
Each print is produced in a small edition and will not return once sold out.

I never planned this series. It started as just streets I walked, looking for nothing in particular.

But looking back, the pattern is clear: silence, spaces, and moments that didn’t ask to be noticed, yet were. Photography lets us return to what almost disappeared—not to explain it, but to stay with it a little longer.

The final chapter of Quiet Streets.

A limited number of prints from this collection are now available.
Once sold out, they will not be reissued.

There is a difference between seeing something and actually noticing it.

Seeing is fast. Automatic. Constant.
Noticing takes a pause.
It requires you to stay with something long enough for it to reveal itself differently.

Most of my work begins in that second space.
Not in searching for images — but in learning how to stay present long enough for them to appear.

I don’t think photography is about capturing reality.
I think it is about learning how to pay attention to it.

It’s incredible how little has to happen for a moment to feel meaningful. A shift in light. A gesture that doesn’t resolve. I’m realizing that I’m not documenting places — I’m collecting states of being.

This image is part of Waiting, an ongoing study of stillness and suspended time.

✨ Selected limited edition fine art prints are available.

There are spaces where nothing happens, yet everything feels suspended. I’m drawn to these "in-between" moments — neither arrival nor departure, just the quiet tension of being held in time.

This shot is part of my series, Waiting, a study of presence over certainty.
