At the photography institute I often visit, there are hundreds of exhibitions hidden inside beautiful photobooks.

Wolfgang Tillmans is one of my favourite photographers.

I highly recommend this place — I’d also like to recommend myself as a photo & video maker. 📸🎥
Creating visual stories is my thing.

[ENG Below] Sesja zdjęciowa ze mną to spacer i wspólne szukanie najlepszych kadrów – dopasowanych do osoby i spełniających jej oczekiwania.
W plenerze nie pracuję według jednego schematu. Kadry powstają na bieżąco, w odpowiedzi na światło, otoczenie i osobowość osoby, którą fotografuję.
Na sesję z Martą wybrałyśmy trasę przez Plac Europejski, gdzie nowoczesna architektura daje mnóstwo możliwości do stworzenia profesjonalnych zdjęć wizerunkowych. Później przemieściłyśmy się na ulicę Próżną i pl. Grzybowski, które świetnie sprawdzają się przy bardziej klasycznych ujęciach.
Marta właśnie obroniła pracę dyplomową postanowiła zadbać o profesjonalny wizerunek. Gratulacje! 🙌 🤍

A photo session with me is more like a walk than a traditional shoot. Together, we explore the city and look for images that feel authentic, flattering, and truly reflect the person in front of the camera.
I don'’ follow a fixed formula. I choose each frame as we go, adapting to the light, the surroundings, and most importantly, the individual.
For Marta'’ session, we started at Plac Europejski, where the modern architecture creates the perfect backdrop for professional personal branding photos. Then we continued to Próżna Street and Grzybowski Square for a more classic look.
Marta has just defended her thesis and decided it was the perfect moment to invest in professional portraits. Congratulations! 🙌 🤍

Od lat fotografuję obrazy Grzegorza, to są światy, płynne, pociągające, ze wspaniałymi zestawieniami kolorystycznymi, to wielka przyjemność móc się im przyglądać.

„Jak to jest rozstawać się ze swoimi obrazami?

Na szczęście potrzeba malowania przewyższa potrzebę ich posiadania. Bardzo mnie cieszy, gdy obraz się sprzedaje, bo ściana to naturalne środowisko dla obrazów i one żyją dzięki temu, że ludzie na nie patrzą. Obraz się od tego nie zużywa, a wręcz staje się coraz bardziej istotny, więc raczej myślę o tym nie jako o rozstaniu, tylko wysyłaniu ich w świat.

Ktoś dekoruje swoje wnętrze moim obrazem, który funkcjonuje trochę jak okno do mojego świata. Cena obrazu to cena rozstania. Dzięki temu, że ktoś je kupuje, mogę malować nowe i nie muszę się ich kurczowo trzymać, bo to jest artystyczne samobójstwo.

For years, I have been photographing Grzegorz’s paintings. They are worlds of their own — fluid, captivating, and filled with wonderful colour combinations. It is always a great pleasure to spend time looking at them.

Below is an excerpt from an interview in Hygge with Grzegorz Jarzynowski.

What is it like to let go of your paintings?

Fortunately, the need to paint is greater than the need to own them. I am very happy when a painting is sold, because a wall is the natural environment for paintings, and they live through people looking at them. A painting does not wear out because of this — quite the opposite, it becomes increasingly meaningful. So I don’t think of it as a separation, but rather as sending them out into the world.

Someone decorates their interior with my painting, which functions a bit like a window into my world. The price of a painting is the price of letting it go. Thanks to the fact that someone buys them, I can paint new ones and I don’t have to hold on to them too tightly, because that would be artistic suicide.”

Kontynuuję realizację projektów wideo.

Tym razem miałam przyjemność stworzyć materiał prezentujący pracę Poli Dwurnik dla Sztuk. Artystka zajmuje się przede wszystkim malarstwem olejnym, mediami rysunkowymi oraz kolażem, jest również autorką publikacji i redaktorką.

Jak opisuje Krupa Gallery, Pola Dwurnik bada tożsamość uwikłaną w konflikt pomiędzy wewnętrznymi emocjami a zewnętrznym wizerunkiem, odnajdując nową siłę wyrazu w granicach figuralnej reprezentacji. Jednym z głównych tematów jej twórczości pozostaje relacja między ludźmi i zwierzętami.

W Sztukach dostępna jest edycja litografii artystki.

Z niecierpliwością wyczekuję kolejnych pór roku.

I continue creating video projects.

This time, I had the pleasure of producing a video presenting the work of Pola Dwurnik for Sztuki. The artist primarily works with oil painting, drawing media and collage, and is also an author and editor.

As described by Krupa Gallery, Pola Dwurnik explores identity entangled in the conflict between inner emotions and external image, finding new expressive power within the boundaries of figurative representation. One of the central themes of her work is the relationship between humans and animals.

An edition of the artist’s lithographs is currently available at Sztuki.

I am already looking forward to the next seasons.
