Yesterday, I received the most unexpected and touching gift.
Amor, the young son of Pola and Mao, stayed close to me while I was taking photos. He watched everything with endless curiosity, spoke in several languages, and kept pointing out plants, flowers, and mushrooms I would have otherwise missed.

Then he came up to me and said, "I have a present for you." He handed me his little blue camera.

A little boy gave me something I have never received from grown men - the one thing that brings me the greatest joy in life: a tool for photography.

It wasn't about the camera itself. It was about the kindness, trust, and generosity behind that simple gesture.
Thank you, Amor. I will never forget it. 💙📷

To dla mnie wyjątkowy moment i wielka satysfakcja, ponieważ FUJIKINA jest miejscem spotkań twórców i miłośników fotografii z różnych zakątków świata. Tym bardziej cieszy mnie fakt, że moja praca znalazła się wśród zdjęć prezentowanych podczas tego wydarzenia.

If you’re against immigrants, then maybe stop eating kebabs, sushi, and Indian food. Stop taking taxis driven by foreigners. Stop getting your nails done in salons run by people from abroad. Stop ordering food delivered by migrants. Stop hiring foreign construction workers, cleaners, caregivers, warehouse workers, and delivery drivers.

The truth is simple: immigrants are already part of our everyday lives. They cook our meals, drive us home safely, build our houses, care for our elderly, deliver our packages, and help keep businesses running.

You don’t have to agree with every immigration policy. But before judging people because of where they were born, take a moment to notice how much they contribute to the society around you.

A person should be judged by their actions, not their passport.
