Some legends shouldn’t be touched.
Unless you really know what you’re doing.

The HWA EVO.

One of those cars at ULTRACE that made me stop, look… and then look again.

Inspired by the legendary Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II, the HWA EVO takes one of the most iconic shapes in automotive history and brings it into a completely different era.

And somehow, it works.

Actually… it works incredibly well.

A 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6, rear-wheel drive, modern motorsport engineering and up to 500 PS – wrapped in a silhouette that immediately takes you back to one of the greatest eras of Mercedes-Benz.

Only 100 will be built.

But numbers aside, it’s the presence of this car that got me.

The stance.
Those arches.
That unmistakable 190E silhouette.

And the details that make you realise this isn’t simply nostalgia – it’s serious engineering with enormous respect for where it came from.

Seeing the HWA EVO in person was something else.

It looks aggressive, elegant and slightly outrageous all at once – and I absolutely loved it.

A proper modern interpretation of a legend. 🤍

Huge congratulations to HWA HWA AG for creating something this special.

And once again, a massive thank you to CTEK Battery Charging for inviting me to Ultrace and giving me the opportunity to get this close to some truly extraordinary machines.

I didn’t expect JAPFEST to leave such a lasting impression on me.

Thanks to my friends Karolina Pilarczyk Drift 🥇 and Mariusz Mario Dziurleja , I had the chance to experience JAPFEST.PL | Festiwal 🇯🇵 from a completely different perspective.

I left with some great memories 🇯🇵

Thousands of enthusiasts. Hundreds of incredible Japanese cars. Legendary Keiichi Tsuchiya Tsuchiya , world-class drifters, iconic Japanese cars 👌🏻

But what I’ll remember most is the atmosphere.

A new generation of enthusiasts brought together by one shared passion. So much respect, positive energy and genuine appreciation for automotive culture.
Events like this remind me that the future of our community is in very good hands.

Looking at JAPFEST through both a photographer’s and a marketer’s lens, I was seriously impressed.
The organisation, the experience and the attention to detail were outstanding.

Congratulations to everyone behind this incredible event.

Watching you Karolina Pilarczyk Drift 🥇 from the outside is one thing… but experiencing it from the passenger seat is something else entirely 🩷

Karolina, you’re incredible.
Feeling your precision, confidence and complete control behind the wheel gave me a whole new level of respect for what you do. What looks effortless is actually years of passion, hard work and dedication.

For years, motorsport has been seen as a man’s world. Thankfully, that’s changing.

Every day, more women are proving that passion has no gender. You don’t need to become a professional driver—you just need the courage to give it a go.

As a proud member of the Ladies rally team , I hope more women step out of their comfort zone, chase their dreams and discover just how incredible this world can be.

Girls, don’t be afraid to take the wheel. You might surprise yourself.

The moment I looked inside, I realised this wasn’t just another beautifully restored classic. Every switch, every stitch, every surface felt like it belonged exactly where it was. The interior is a work of art… just like the car itself.

Built on the legendary Ford GT40, the Ruffian 40 isn’t about reinventing an icon—it’s about honouring it through modern engineering while preserving everything that made it legendary in the first place.

Chris, congratulations. You’ve created something truly special.

This car didn’t just change the way I look at GT40s…

There are cars that make you look.

And then there are cars that make you stop.

This Volkswagen Jetta was one of them.

Standing among hundreds of incredible builds at Ultrace, it somehow pulled me back in every single time. Maybe it was the colours. Maybe it was the stance. Maybe it was the memories it brought back.

It reminded me of the cars I dreamed about as a teenager. The kind of cars that made you turn your head twice. The kind of cars you imagined yourself driving one day.

There’s something about beautifully built classics that modern cars simply can’t replace. They don’t just tell a story, they bring back your own.

Dennis Rauhut, Dennis Rauhut what an incredible build. Every detail feels intentional, every line just works. Chapeau! Das sieht einfach unglaublich gut aus. 👏

Ruffian 500 🤍

I kept coming back to it throughout the weekend, discovering another tiny detail every single time.
Nothing felt accidental. Every line, every surface and every component had a purpose, yet together they created something that looked like art.

Meeting the man behind it, Chris Ashton, made me admire it even more.

The more I learned about the Ruffian 500, the more I realised it wasn’t just a beautiful build—it was an engineering statement.

Built around a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500, it keeps the soul of an American classic while hiding an uncompromising race car underneath.

A custom tube chassis.

A Shelby-built 526ci FE V8 producing over 700 horsepower.

A six-speed manual gearbox.

Modern suspension, race engineering and countless handcrafted details—all without losing the iconic silhouette of the original Galaxie.

It’s one of those cars that makes you appreciate not only the finished masterpiece, but also the thousands of hours of craftsmanship behind it.

Congratulations on making the Top 16 at Ultrace – so well deserved.

Chris, it was such a pleasure meeting you. Thank you for sharing your passion and your incredible work.

And a huge thank you to CTEK Sweden for this unforgettable journey.
