Haleji Lake, some 85 KM from Karachi on the National Highway. Lies directly on the International flyway No. 4, a route taken by migratory birds annually. Tomb of Mirza Tughral Baig

The tomb of Mriza Tughrail Beg (d.1679) and the canopy on the right of Jani Beg Tar Khan’s tomb deserve attentions for their elaborated construction. The corners of these square structures have been cut to form and octagon, the dome being supported by two pillars in each of the four sides of the pavilions. Every alternate side of the sixteen-side figure above the octagon is supported by corbels in the angles above the capitals. The sixteen sides are further divided by cross arches upto the base of the dome. The pillars are richly carved in arabesque work and are surmounted by honeycomb of capital. Lotus blooms and sunflowers are carved a relief in the niches. The interior of the doe is a reproduction in stone of the zigzag pattern in coloured tiles set in the dome over Diwan Shurfa Khan’s grave.
