The California State Capitol is home to the government of the U.S. state of California. The building houses the bicameral state legislature and the office of the governor. Located in Sacramento, the Neoclassical structure was completed between 1861 and 1874 at the west end of Capitol Park, which is framed by L Street to the north, N Street to the south, 10th Street to the west, and 15th Street to the east.

Kumrat is covered with green pastures, snow clad mountains, the river Panjkora, foggy mounds and forests are attractions of the region, which serve as habitats for variety of flora and fauna. It is located in the Upper Dir Kohistan region at the back side of which Swat Kohistan area of Gabral is located.
Deodar forest is fast depleting in Dir kohistan valley and it continues unhindered as the locals claim they have no other source of heating and cooking in the harsh winter season.It is to mention here that the people of Kohistan valley had offered the government a few years back that they were ready stop cutting deodar trees if they were provided with the natural gas facility. However, the government did not pay any heed to their demand.

Beautiful Waterfall in Jahaz Banda Upper Dir North Pakistan is next to Jāz Bānda and is located in North-West Frontier Province, Pakistan. Hike to Jahaz banda meadows is about (3-4 hours of moderate trek through beautiful pine forest).After reached the meadows you can go down wards from the meadows from one side of the mountain,very attractive and lush green forest trek along waterfall hardly 15 minutes down stream hike and the view is superb for worth breathtaking.

Cross Deosai plains on Toyota Vitz.
best trip ever .
I would like to gives some tips for crossing deosai.
Speed shouldn't be more than 15kmph.
If the car is full with passenger load it should be damage the lower part of the car.
Ascending from Skardu side is quite challenging.
Better to enter from chillam side.
Travel with lot of food and check the weather as well.
Best season for exploreing the area in July to till August
Later in Oct as well when grass looks brown...

Passu is a small village on the Karakoram Highway, beside the Hunza River, some 15 kilometers from Gulmit, the Tehsil headquarters of Gojal in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan, and about 150 km upriver from Gilgit. It lies very near the tongue of the Passu Glacier, and just south of the tongue of the Batura Glacier. The latter is the seventh longest non-polar glacier in the world at 56 km, and reaches very near to the highway. The people are Wakhi and speak the Wakhi Language. Religiously they are Ismaili, a sect of Shia Islam.
Tupopdan, 6,106 metres (20,033 ft), also known as "Passu Cones" or "Passu Cathedral", lies to the north of the village; it is the most photographed peak of the region.[citation needed] Also nearby are the high peaks of Pasu Sar, Shispare Sar, and Batura.

Khurdupin Pass Update
Tomorrow is the pass crossing day IA for both of the groups. Rendezvous of groups is also expected tomorrow. Group2 has also reached Khurdupin High camp from Snowlake side. All prayers with the boys. Kashif Salman Asif Peeru

While most of the trekking lately has been focused in Karakorums and Himalaya ranges, there are a couple of groups targeting something different this year in the Golen valley, Chitral.

Group1 being lead by Umair Hasan will be attempting a new unnamed pass at 5300m to cross into Bashkargol lake from Golen valley. They will then turn right from Bashkargol lake towards Thalo pass (4600m) to cross into Kumrat, Dir.

Group2 being lead by Asif Saeed will be crossing Phargam Pass at 5100m to reach Harchin, Laspur.

This region is seldom explored by Pakistani trekking community. These expeditions will pave the way for opening it up for future trekkers. Good luck teams!
